The customer reported that the Wolf microwave was running but not heating food. During diagnosis, our technician performed a complete inspection of the high-voltage system and found that the magnetron had failed. A defective magnetron is one of the most common reasons a microwave powers on normally but produces no heat.
After testing all related components and verifying proper operation of the control system, we replaced the failed magnetron with a new OEM part. The photo shows the old magnetron that was removed during the repair process. Once the new magnetron was installed, the microwave was tested through multiple heating cycles and returned to normal operation.
At Marshall Appliance Repair, we specialize in Wolf microwave repair, built-in microwave repair, microwave not heating diagnosis, magnetron replacement, high-voltage system repairs, and premium kitchen appliance service. Our technicians carry advanced diagnostic tools and many commonly needed parts to complete repairs quickly and accurately.
