I am a life long customer of Mariam. Mariam has been braiding my hair for 30 years. Mariam is patient, knowledgeable about hair braiding, thoughtful and respectful. In the 30 years I’ve been getting my hair done at her establishments (I follow her wherever she goes), I have never seen her loose her temper. Just got my hair done, doing passion twist. Very nice, very professional. Ada did a great job. I recommend all the lady's there if you want to look beautiful.

The braid shop is very clean. The ladies are professional and helpful. I strongly recommend going there plus it’s close to the train station. Note the entrance is on Nostrand across the street Blink Fitness and up two flights of stairs.

when i went in there the first thing i noticed was that there was hair all over the floor.when i sat i noticed the unclean combs there was hair all over it.when the lady went to go open the draws i saw 2 roaches crawl out of it. i asked for knotless and i received box braids with crooked parts.but i also noted how she left me and started working on another girl.this experience was over charged for a bad style i did not want. i payed for something that i didn’t want. this experience is a 1/10.

I just started going here three months ago. The prices are very reasonable, the braiders braid hair quickly, I like the hair styles and the braiders are very friendly.

This is my 2nd time going here to get knotless box braids and they never disappoint! I love my box braids and I've been getting so many compliments on them... Even though they're now a few weeks old. Affordable prices, great service and very friendly staff! Thank you ladies! :)
