Thanksgiving weekend is typically around the same time Big Bear Mountain Resort opens for its skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing season. Thanksgiving Day is scheduled for Thursday, November 28, 2024 with Black Friday following on Friday, November 29. While Snow Summit is currently closed and is anticipated to reopen for the 24/25 winter season at the end of November, an official opening date has yet to be established, as it will depend on weather and snow conditions.
