Maple Cottage Memory Care of Hendersonville

Jessica, Rachel, and all of the staff are above and beyond helpful and caring. They really went out of their way to make my father's transition to Memory Care easy on him and our family. Highly recommend. -L. Mattingly Update: As a former healthcare facility auditor, Hendersonville Maple Cottages truly is the only place to have your loved one for Memory Care. My dad has been there since October and they go over and beyond to support our family and my Dad. We love that Maple Cottages is small and all of the rooms open into a common area so they can more easily make sure each resident is safe and receive individualized care. We also love that we are able to get to know every single caregiver due to the facility's small size. Every caregiver, the administrator, nurses, activities director always pitch in to do what needs to be done for my Dad and everyone else there. Maple Cottage transitions Hendersonville is a wonderful place to be! The ED Rachel is wonderful. The owners are wonderful too! The facility smells nice and there’s always something to do! I would recommend this place for anyone!

Because Maple Cottage is family owned, I believe there is a spirit of family at the cottage. Charlotte and Felicia are amazing and know each resident in a personal way so that any change in personality is quickly brought to attention. Everyone there is always smiling and helpful. Mom doesn’t have any significant medical needs but the Miller Group medical team has been on top of any medical issue including vitamins. In spite of Covid mandates, Maple Cottage has managed to keep families in touch. All families were invited to share in their Christmas celebration through live viewing via our computers & phones. Santa was so cute! Memory care is so tough and sad at times yet the Cottage has been able to keep everyone happy and healthy. I thank everyone there for making us feel like we are part of the family! I have visited Maple Cottage a couple of times and it is very nicely built and decorated. Very nice little cottage style assisted living. Really cozy. I have gotten to know the owners very well through community networking and their passion for what they do radiates! We share the same love in caring for seniors! Very sincere and kind people who have a true heart for serving seniors and their families. Also very experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to serving the senior population and specializing in memory care needs. I believe any resident would be in good care with them!

The Maple Cottage assisted living experience is like no other I’ve seen. The Glassers have truly made it into a community of loving, caring friends and neighbors. The amenities and activities are first rate as well, and the facility itself is beautifully decorated while still feeling personal, unlike the institutional feel of many other places. Knowing your loved ones have made their home in a family-run assisted living community, where they are treated with the same respect and consideration the owners and staff would treat their own family, is such a joy.

Maple Cottage is fabulous! My mom has been there for about 7 months now and her life has improved tremendously. My family has had experiences with two other Hendersonville facilities--one assisted living and the other was a memory care side of an assisted living facility...Maple Cottage offers so much more than the others. In the Hendersonville memory care facility where my dad lived 5 years ago, the care was horrendous and borderline criminal. The facility where my mom was at before Maple Cottage was good but over time they couldn't meet her health needs. Since my mom moved into Maple Cottage, her health has improved and she hasn't had a single UTI. They encourage her to get involved in activities and she is always well groomed. Maple Cottage has a full-time activities director and they are doing something almost every hour throughout the afternoon. My mom actually wants to hang up from our Skype calls because she knows she's missing an activity with the other residents! Maple Cottage has REAL activities--not just a calendar with lame activities that residents don't want to do or that are just for marketing purposes which don't actually happen. The facility is small and the staff has time to give residents real, meaningful contact and conversation. They have a great understanding of how to engage the residents!

My father has been at Maple Cottage over 2 years now. He's had some ups and downs with his health, aging and memory issues; however the staff has been so very helpful and supportive dealing with his changes. They've offered me guidance in decisions that needed to be made. This last year with visitation restrictions, I never had a doubt about the care he was receiving. I knew they had to follow the mandates and restrictions , yet at the same time they kept the families involved and informed. My mother had Alzheimer's and was in a memory care facility (a large corporately ran facility) in 2008-2009 when she passed. When I visit my dad and see the care and attention that he and the other residents are getting, I often think 'I wish my mother had had that'. I'll always be so thankful for the care associates and nurses and all the staff at Maple Cottage. In caring for my dad, they're also caring for me.

Everything about the building is meticulous. It's so obvious that the staff cares about the residents. Honestly, I've never seen a happier group of seniors as the day I toured Maple Cottage. The location is very convenient, and centered right in the heart of Hendersonville, TN.

The staff was so compassionate and caring. They went above and beyond the entire time mom was there. Five Stars isn't enough, but all I could give. Our family highly recommends Maple Cottage Memory Care without hesitation.

Amazing care! They even had the sweetest baby there a couple of times when we visited as a “therapeutic” baby for snuggles and smiles. How amazing. It’s like having your loved one in a beautiful home with friends all the time. Thank you for loving so well!
