Itโs never โjust a couple of things.โ
Things take space. Volume.
If you havenโt moved for several years, chances are youโve accumulated more than you realise. Furniture, boxes, clothes, kitchen contents, the garage, loft, garden โ it all adds up.
Access matters too. A property may have plenty of space inside, but restricted parking, narrow access, stairs or a long carry to the front door can significantly affect the time and manpower required.
Thatโs why we always carry out a survey before a move. We want to understand exactly what weโre dealing with so we can plan the right vehicles, team and time.
Be transparent about what youโre moving. If something has changed since the original quote, tell us. Trying to squeeze a larger move into fewer vans just to save money can quickly turn into delays, extra handling and additional costs.
Donโt underestimate what a proper removal should cost. Thereโs a difference between getting your move done properly and trying to do it on the cheap.
Plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time.
We donโt do last-minute moves, and neither should you.
