We were absolutely thrilled with our micro-wedding at the Manor House Inn in Norfolk, CT. The micro wedding package was thoughtfully designed and included everything we could have hoped for - a beautiful intimate ceremony, lovely decorations, a cocktail hour with a custom signature cocktail, an incredible five-course plated dinner, an overnight stay for us as the couple, and a delicious breakfast the next morning. Rachel’s experience planning weddings truly shines. She spent so much time communicating with me, making sure every detail was perfect and that our day felt special and personal. Her attention to detail was exceptional. The meal was outstanding, the grounds were pristine, and even the turndown service made the experience feel luxurious. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to celebrate.

A restorative, peaceful getaway! We stayed at the Manor House Inn for a quick anniversary getaway. Just 2.5 hours outside of NYC, the Inn offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. We stayed in the Country French room which offered a nice view of the property and a large soaking tub with luxurious amenities from the linens to the toiletries. The property is charming and thoughtful with attention to detail at its core. We enjoyed playing board games by the fire place with a hot cup of tea at night. We took a hike at Haystack Mountain during the day, which was a short drive from the Inn. The location is ideal being walking distance from the town center and various trails/hiking spots. The Manor House Inn has something to offer for anyone looking to relax, restore, and explore the surrounding beauties! We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful place the Manor House Inn is! Our hosts Blair and Fell were so gracious and kind and the house is simply stunning. Blair had all sorts of suggestions of what to do in Norfolk and surrounding area. We explored the town (an easy walk from the inn) after an amazing breakfast from Chef Fell. The beautiful library, Yale Summer School of Music and the Ice Box cafe for a well deserved latte were among the highlights. After another amazing breakfast, we had to leave but we will definitely be back to explore more of what Litchfield County has to offer and stay at the restful and relaxing Manor House Inn.

Our experience at the Manor House Inn was absolutely amazing. We got away from noise and business of everyday life, and this was the goal! If you love antiques and vintage, and old books, and quite elegance of a 100 + years old old estate - this is the place for you. The hospitality we got there from Blair was unparalleled.

The Manor House is a stunning example of Gilded Age elegance, tucked away in a peaceful New England town. The sophisticated architecture and furnishings make you feel like you have gone back in time. The breakfast was delicious and I was impressed by the attention to detail of amenities offered. The whole stay was incredibly relaxing.

We enjoyed everything about our relaxing two night stay. We enjoyed walking the boardwalk in town, hiking to a local waterfall and reading in the parlor near the fireplace. Our room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are substantial and delicious. The hosts are charming and knowledgeable. Hope to visit again soon.

What can I say? Our experience at Manor House was perfect. We had rescheduled our visit on numerous occasions and the staff courteously accommodated us. I have never been to this type of bed/breakfast, and was wonderfully surprised when I saw it as I was greeted by a beautiful estate, and courteous staff. The innkeepers were kind, pleasant, and welcoming. The interior of the inn is quite beautiful, and I was reminded of being in a country estate in Europe while staying there. This place is for those who want to escape the rigors of technology, and stress to escape to the country. I was so relaxed I didn't want to leave, and each room has its own theme. I personally can't wait to return to this hidden gem. Mark my words you won't be disappointed - this place is a winner.

I highly recommend the Manor House, whether for a get-away-stay or a retreat event for your company or business. The details are exquisite, making the stay full of ease setting the stage for connection and reflection. I the service is attentive and responsive yet non-intrusive, and the food is delicious.

Absolutely brilliant location to stay while visiting the northwest corner of the state. This is absolutely the most beautiful part of CT. There is so much to do nearby. 3 state parks, amazing food, pubs and breweries, a music hall, cafe and many waterfalls and nature trails and much much more all within a short drive. Saville dam, falls village I can keep going for days. Don’t sleep on this stay. Book the second you can when they reopen in the spring!

I’ve never been to a place like the Manor House Inn. From the second we walked in, Nate was so friendly and attentive. Our room was BEAUTIFUL, with a real fireplace and nice amenities. Nate made us breakfast in the morning, considering my food allergies, made French press coffee, had the fire going in the main living room area. There were no screens anywhere so it was a really nice way to get away from technology and reconnect. There were games in every corner and so much history in the house. I didn’t want to leave and we will DEFINITELY be back when it’s warmer.
