I stumbled upon Manhattan Barber Shop N.Y.C, Chelsea and had the pleasure of getting a haircut from Ricky. He gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in years—super attentive to detail and really took the time to make sure everything was perfect. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, and the shop itself was spotless and well-maintained. I highly recommend this barbershop for anyone looking for top-notch service and a great experience.

They really take the time to understand my preferences and give me exactly the cut I want every single time. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Alaa Eddine for over 5 years, and he’s consistently great. His attention to detail is impressive, and he’s always professional and easy to talk to. He’s someone who really listens to what you want and takes the time to get it right. On top of being an excellent barber, he’s just a good guy to know. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable barber who consistently delivers.

The very worst and most violent haircut I’ve ever received. At one point, I thought the barber was actually going to cut my neck. I’ve put a photo below to show you what the back of my head looks like. I have a giant rash at the back now. Once the barber was done, he did not even show me the back of my head. Avoid this place if you don’t want your head assaulted. Genuinely feel like finding a complaint agency. This is never happened to me in any other barber.

I called this morning and made an appointment with Maria to dye my beard. I arrived early and waited, selected my color and at 3:04 after making an appointment and waiting 15 min I was told that I would have to wait for her to do a full wash blow and cut on long woman’s hair first. Unprofessional and a huge waste of my time I came down from HK for nothing, waste of my time and money Maria was rude and unprofessional. She completely mishandled the situation.

Maria did a great job - this was my first time here and highly recommend! I told her exactly what i like and she executed properly. Will be back!
