We had a wonderful travel experience in Mangaluru with taxi owner Mr. C. Patil. The driver, Dharmesh, was extremely polite, professional, and drove very safely, never exceeding 80 km/h. He was knowledgeable about all the routes, which made our journey smooth and comfortable. We got a reliable and budget friendly cab service for a 4 day temple tour around Kukke, Dharmasthala, Horanadu, Sringeri, Kollur, Murudeshwar, Udupi and Mangalore. They gave us a detailed itinerary and also included few more beautiful temples which were not part of our list. Vehicle was neat and we'll maintained. The driver assigned to us, Prakash Patil spoke Hindi and is polite. He is knowledgeable about the temples and was also kind enough to stop at beach and view points along the way. We had a few temple visits that required very early starts (as early as 5 AM), and he was always on time without any issues. He also recommended some beautiful scenic spots along the way and guided us to good restaurants for meals, which added to the overall experience. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant journey. I started off by booking Mangalore Travels Corporation for an Airport pickup - and just went on to book their cabs for my temple trips to Horanadu Annapoorna Mandir and then again to Darmasthala and Kukke Subrahmanya. In two days our driver Mr. Hanumantha understood our needs so well that he stopped at many temples on the way and helped us have wonderful darshan everywhere. So much so, when we left Mangalore we booked Mangalore Cabs for 4 days outstation trips and requested them to make an iterinary of temple visits at a pace that would suit us. Our original plan was to visit Udupi Sri Krishna temple and Kollur Mookambika. But they made a great programme that enabled us to visit Sringeri, Anagudde, Murudeshwar and so many more temples in the area - and also took us for darshan every evening at Sri Krishna temple. Our driver Mr. Hanumantha was extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He planned our programme everyday, knew exactly where to stop for lunch or dinner at the kind of vegetarian restauraunts we preferred. And their charges were very reasonable. They were 100% reliable and punctual and unfailingly courteous whenever we called.
