I came in with a group of my coworkers for lunch. We had never tried Somali food before and the server was very hospitable and explained all we needed to know to make our experience the best. She gave us complimentary soup which was delicious. Two of my coworkers got the mango smoothie and said it was delicious and creamy. I tried the Somali tea and it was so flavorful and delicious. We tried the beef and chicken sambusas and got several different dishes. We left very full and happy. Highly recommend!

I hope I can someday learn to make rice like this! This was my first Somali restaurant experience and it was excellent. The lamb we had was tender and flavorful. Everything on our plates was spiced but not particularly spicy. The sambusas were also mild and hearty. The staff were very friendly but we did have some communication misses -- it doesn't hurt as a double-check to point to the drink you want at the front counter. May this restaurant continue to have success!
