Unprofessional service from start to finish. The staff are young, inexperienced, and clearly not customer-focused. I paid $535 for an annual inspection, then during re-inspection they focused on tiny issues like parking lamps just to force another payment. This does not feel honest or fair. In my view, this business is ripping people off, and I honestly wonder how many customers are being overcharged but stay silent. I have reported this to the ACCC and am waiting for the outcome.

We recently had our limousine fleet inspected for their yearly licensing inspection at Malaga Pit Inspections, and the experience was excellent. Ron is extremely knowledgeable and clearly has a strong respect for classic vehicles, which really shows in the care taken during the inspection. The reception staff were very lovely and patient, and the waiting area was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Malaga Pit Inspections to anyone looking to have their car inspected.

. Not recommended. There is no manager available, and everyone refuses to take responsibility. The front desk staff are extremely rude, which is honestly unbelievable. No one is willing to speak or help, and it seems like everyone is permanently on holiday. It has been over one month, and they still cannot send a simple email to the correct department. Instead of replying to reviews, you need more experienced staff and serious improvements to your internal processes.

Absolutely AMAZING service from the girls at reception to the inspectors, so very helpful can’t thank them enough. It’s nice to go into a company and truly get the highest level of service i have experienced for a very long time. Would definitely recommend them without hesitation. A very BIG thank you 🙏🏻

Took my car to get a full inspection after having my rego lapse and got put through the wringer. I got done for rubbish like drivers seat tears, dashboard bubbling, LED lights installed (when there were none), gear knob descriptors missing, rear door couldn’t operate (total pit inspector user error here) - all of which my mechanic laughed at and said there was no work required, and this mechanic having been a former pit inspector himself. Some of these items had ZERO to do with the functionality/driveability/safetiness of the car. On top of this, I never got given a Failed certificate - something my re-inspection place said was not good. The attendant was a youngish looking guy so possibly inexperience comes into play. There are much better inspection places around and the one I’ve gone to do my re-inspection basically said they’ve had a lot of unhappy customers coming from Malaga. In short, strongly do not recommend.

Very helpful staff at the front desk. Very efficient turnaround, could not be happier with the service overall. Needed help with my transfer from NSW plates to WA and the whole process was very straightforward.

After my 2nd re-inspection, with the faults already fixed, I was suddenly told I needed an LK1 engineer form. I was told DOT required it. To be sure, I went to the DOT inspection centre in Kelmscott. The supervisor there checked the vehicle and confirmed there was no need for an LK1 form at all. The real problem was that Malaga inspectors never read the Compliance Plate, which clearly states the vehicle is a 5-seater. Instead, they assumed it was a 2-seater and failed it again. Reading a compliance plate is literally their job, and they didn’t do it. Instead of admitting a mistake, I was argued with and DOT was blamed. It’s sad to see other people having the same experience, and the replies to reviews speak for themselves. I highly recommend avoiding Malaga pit inspections. They will waste your time and money.
