As a mature age student, I completed my PPLA with Major Blue at Jandakot and am now progressing towards my CPLA. I've always found the team very professional at all times. They are all very obliging, encouraging and willing to assist in any way they can. The MBA fleet are well maintained and lovely aircraft to fly. I'd certainly recommend MBA at Jandakot to anyone looking to venture into a flying career. Tony

For Future International Students ***AVOID MAJOR BLUE AIR*** (Part 2) After I completed my RPL in July 2025, I requested a letter of attainment and qualification certificate so I could apply elsewhere, yet again no responds. Instead, on 18 July 2025, Rupoon told me via email that he was preparing a formal notification confirming that I would not be continuing. As of 20 August 2025 today making this review, I have received nothing, no letter, no certificate, no final communication, no formal notification confirms. Just a vague training extension email. I was the only international student at the college during my time there. If more international students enrolled, the system would likely collapse under poor management and lack of oversight. Rupoon is often absent from the college, travelling overseas for personal reasons, such as holiday trips, visiting parents, marriage etc. And he is still the only person in charge of academic issues, complaints, and student affairs. No other person can take matters into account other than him. This highlights a major concern: Major Blue Air has no clear complaint resolution system. When I asked about making a formal complaint, I was told to lodge it through the college yet the person I was complaining about (Rupoon) was the same person responsible for reviewing and responding to it. There is no independent body, no HR department, and no transparency. This creates a clear conflict of interest and a system that is neither fair nor accountable. In summary, while Major Blue Air does have decent aircraft and a few dedicated instructors, these positives are vastly overshadowed by disorganized and unresponsive management, lack of structured academic support, poor communication and misleading information, staffing shortages that delay student progress, no formal complaints process or independent oversight, disregard for international students’ welfare and progress. If you are a TAFE student or a private student, your experience might be different. But if you are considering direct enrolment for the diploma or as an international student, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. I invested time, money, and trust in this institution, only to be let down by its failures at every level.
