I honestly can't recommend these guys more highly! My first experience with them was a very small job - but they were out the very next day to take care of my issue and treated me as though I was their best customer. After several more small jobs (again, out the next day, issue fixed!) I was finally able to afford to do the BIG job: cleaning up 100+ years of old wiring, new panels, new meters, making everything SAFE, and disentangling and separating too many outlets/lights on the same circuit. And they did this with MINIMAL intrusion into living spaces. It took the crew about 2.5 weeks to complete and I am SO VERY PLEASED!! The bill came in only a very little over their estimate - but when you're dealing with a house that's 150+ years old, you really can't foresee all the issues you're going to run into. They kept me updated and thoroughly informed at every step, however - can't ask for better! So if you're looking to have someone find out why your outlet isn't working any more or you need to re-wire your entire house, or anything inbetween, THIS is the company for you!

We just bought an old house in Boothbay Harbor and the first electrician that came out gave us a quote of $15k for 'urgent, dangerous issues' that needed to be addressed immediately. We decided to call in a second opinion, and that's when we found these guys. They arrived a little before 9, and by 5pm that day they had the problem fixed (even though it required CMP being called in!) for $1,700. We immediately hired them for the next two jobs we needed done. HIGHLY recommend. (Bonus points... they have a woman apprentice, and as a woman business owner I LOVE hiring other women in the trades whenever possible, but it's hard to find!)

Maine Voltage Electrical replaced all the old knob and tube wiring, upgraded our electrical box, installed a light, bathroom light/fan in our 1890 house. It was a big project with multiple holes in the ceilings. The electricians that came (3 in all) were very professional, kind to our dogs, respected our property, cleaned up after themselves and communicated very clearly what they were doing and how things were going.

I have had Adam from Maine Voltage do numerous jobs at my house in Winthrop including; wiring my standby generator, installing electrical fixtures on our newly built deck, wiring power to our pool pump and pool lights as well as installing interior light fixtures and bathroom fans. The service is always 100%, they are detailed, do quality work and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend!
