Fitness for SPORT vs. Fitness for LIFE
Somewhere along the road, the fitness industry lost its way.
Olympic weightlifting, technical gymnastics, and scoreboards crept into mainstream fitness. A protocol intended for competitive elite athletes started selling as a universal fitness program. Too much volume and too little recovery became the norm, and everyday people put their trust in a program designed for the top 0.01%.
“Fitness for sport” is designed to prepare the mind and body for competition, impact, and intensity.
But unless you’re actively competing in fitness as a sport, your training program should look nothing like it. For most individuals, we believe there’s a more intelligent way to train.
“Fitness for life” should provide the building blocks for the high performer to age athletically in a vibrant and powerful way: free of injury and full of strength and resilience.
We ditch the finite scoreboard and favor quality of movement vs. racing through reps, providing an infinitely sustainable lifestyle. And we’re willing to bet you’ll gain unmatched strength and conditioning as a result.
