Train passengers in Italy face disruption due to a 24-hour strike.
Italy faces disruption to rail services across the country next weekend due to a 24-hour national strike by train staff and railway maintenance workers.
The walkout is timetabled from 21.00 on Friday 27 February until 21.00 the next evening, Saturday 28 February, and has been called by several trade unions.
The strike could affect services operated by Trenitalia and Italo.
Travellers are reminded that rail connections to and from Rome's Fiumicino airport could experience delays or cancellations as a result of the strike.
