I can’t say enough good things about Lorenz Automotive. My son is a college student in Denton and started having issues with his car, so as any mom would, I was a little stressed trying to help from a distance. From the moment we brought the car in, the experience was excellent. Our service advisor, Sam Tinker, was absolutely amazing, honest, professional, and very thorough. He kept me updated every step of the way, explained what was going on with the car (a catalytic converter/exhaust issue), and clearly communicated the costs before any work was done. No surprises, just straightforward and reasonable pricing. The customer service was top-tier, and most importantly, they took great care of my baby’s car and got it back running right. It really gave me peace of mind knowing my son was in good hands. If you’re looking for an auto shop you can trust, especially for a college student or family member, I highly recommend Lorenz Automotive and definitely ask for Sam Tinker!

We took our 2 Subaru vehicles to Lorentz Automotive and had a great experience. They took the time to explain the issue clearly, showed me what needed attention, and were upfront about costs. No pressure, no unnecessary repairs—just honest work at a fair price. This is the kind of shop you feel confident coming back to.

Friendly staff. Went in for an oil change and Sam did a great job explaining thoroughly some issues that needed repair on my car. There was no pressure, just a friendly reminder of some maintenance issues. Also, ask for a coupon when you get your oil changed. They may be running a coupon and they can offer that discount if they are currently running it.

Excellent experience. Had brake issues. I went in around 9am. They had my truck towed from my house, brought it to the shop and started working on it. It was more of a job than I could do. It was on a Friday, they closed at 6pm. They stayed a little past closing and got my truck out the same day. Sam and Tinker were both extremely nice and helpful. I would recommend the place to anyone.

This is the most professional auto shop I've ever been to! Sam was very helpful and explained everything, even going so far as helping me figure out which service to prioritize so that I don't have to spend a fortune all at once. Unfortunately, I don't live in town and just stopped by to make sure my car wasn't at risk of breaking down on the way home. And yet, their team still worked quickly to help diagnose the issue and sent me on my way with peace of mind. I may consider making the 1 hour drive to their shop for some of these repairs!!!

I just needed my 97 Chevy to be able to safely get from point A to B, in-city daily driving, nothing more, and Sam actually listened and quoted repairs that would do just that without tacking on anything unnecessary just to run the bill up. He was honest about what would be likely needed in the future but that I could get away with putting off until later. And now my truck is handling better than I remember. Smoother steering, engine hums beautifully, and I think they even cleaned my engine block. Good honest work.

I've been a loyal customer to them after they'd done an extensive amount of electrical work on my car. Both the Denton & Lewisville locations have great customer service... Only reason i went to them was because of the display, but i definitely would recommend them to anyone.

First impression Great. If this my new normal I am very pleased. I believe this question would be better if asked 3 to 5 days after pickup. I have only drive 4 miles since pickup. So far far everything seems great! 💯
