**Pay:** $20-25/hr based on experience
We are looking for a motivated and skilled automotive service writer to join our team. No automotive experience needed, but if you have experience in customer service and a passion for the automotive industry, we want to hear from you!
Job Duties:
1. Customer Interaction: Greet customers, understand their service needs, and provide accurate information about services offered.
2. Job Estimates: Prepare detailed estimates for service and repair costs, ensuring transparency with customers.
3. Work Order Management: Create and manage work orders, coordinating with technicians and parts department for timely service.
4. Follow-up Communication: Contact customers to provide updates on their service status and to inform them when their vehicle is ready for pick-up.
5. Payment Processing: Facilitate payment transactions and discuss any additional service recommendations with customers.
6. Documentation: Ensure all service orders and invoices are accurately completed and processed in accordance with company policies.
7. Customer Relations: Build and maintain customer relationships through excellent service and communication.
8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with service technicians and management to enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.
