We used Lockwood's for a basic survey on a proposed property purchase for my elderly parents. Sandrine talked us through the process, dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's necessary. Andrew carried out the survey on time and called me when he had completed it. He explain what he had found with a full explanation. Shortly after we received the full report. Sandrine was very helpful on the phone and booked me any appointment for the following week. Charles came to inspect the property and you hardly noticed he was there, It took around 1.5hrs however he covered lots in that time and he answered questions as he went along. He also explained the whole process what’s great for first time buyers - very helpful! The report was sent the next days what was very quick. I did not have any questions however they were very helpful and were willing to answer or explain anything needed.

Professional and thorough survey and service. Highly recommended. I booked an RICS survey through Lockwood chartered surveyors, For a 1980s three bed detached property. It was extremely easy to book the survey. The surveyor Andrew Lockwood was very professional. He contacted me on the morning of the inspection, to listen to any concerns I had prior to commencing the inspection. He then called me later the same day, after completing the inspection, to discuss his findings. This was incredibly reassuring. The final report arrived two days later. The report was clear, detailed and used a helpful traffic like system to identify and prioritise defects. I consider the survey excellent value for money.

Andrew did a very detailed survey of my property, including all the concerns I privately had. He was thorough throughout, and even found something I really would not have known about until after moving. I also found him to be realistic in his estimates of market value, and gave great advice for ongoing insurance quotes I may need. I also found all his photos most helpful in explaining what he was finding. All his knowledge gave me the step forward towards my move, to enable me to quote his findings to a tradesperson, so that I was one step ahead in getting the work done that I needed.
