Local Movers

Scheduling a move date/time was super simple. They moved a dresser, full size bed, 1 nightstand and a recliner chair for $350.00 from Scott Depot to South Charleston. On the morning of the scheduled move, I contacted Duffy to confirm we were still on schedule for 1pm pick up. He informed me it may not be exactly 1pm but would be close to it. They arrived around 2:20pm. The two gentlemen that moved the furniture were friendly, considerate and nice to work with. They were very efficient and carefully loaded everything in the van. This is the 2nd time I've used this company, and I would use them again. Just be mindful that they may not arrive exactly at the scheduled time.

Both Duffy and his sidekick were very nice men, and the job of moving my sofas was not an easy one. At one point, I honestly thought the sofas just weren’t going to make it into my home, and I felt awful watching them struggle. But they didn’t give up. They put in true labor and worked incredibly hard until the job was done. These guys are absolute hard workers, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing movers. I would give 100 stars if I could. Thank you guys so much!

Jeremy and JR were fantastic! They moved my items just like they were their own, and I had a lot. They never slowed down and both had great and friendly attitudes. Perfect experience. Will recomend them to anyone.

There were two guys that came. One guys name was Deon and he was new and the other guy I can’t remember his name. The other guy tore up the front yard of the home I was moving from while trying to back the truck up. He said he told his boss and they would come put new sod down. When we got to new house I told the guys that my dresser drawers don’t come out but the little guy argued insisting they did. He then proceeded to jerk them all out!!! I didn’t know at the time but the next day when I went to put my drawers back in one was broken and now my drawer doesn’t work. When I called the same day of the move and spoke with someone about the yard, he acted like he didn’t know anything about it and made no attempt to make it right. What I paid for this move wasn’t cheap. Due to the above issues I would not recommend your company.

The 2 gentlemen that showed to move me were absolutely amazing! They worked SUPER hard and didn't stop until they were finished! EXTREMELY respectful and really nice! I will definitely use them again!!! HANDS DOWN THEN BEST!!

These men were very nice and professional but PLEASE sign a contract!!!! It was understood from the beginning that they were to put a bedroom suit together for a young couple in Maryland that they took it too and they didn’t!! When I called the he owner Duffy, he literally agreed it was his mistake but refused any type of refund. It became very hysterical discussing how sick he was and just irrational. Please use someone else and sign a contract! Here is an update. I just received a voicemail from the owner Duffy and it was a continual berating and was angry that I didn’t leave a tip or offer water until they had been there for a couple hours. Oh my goodness!! This man is scary. First of all, he should have brought his own water but I didn't mind at all to offer them water. And as far as a tip, my sweet Lord $2500 was tip enough. Also, he didn’t even bring tools. He literally asked me if I had tools and so I provided them but I thought it was strange that he does this for a living and did t bring tools?… This man has been messaging me and left this enraged voicemail because I gave him a review that spoke the truth. He’s actually scaring me now. Please go elsewhere for your moving needs.

The guys were great. Two guys, a decent sized box truck and a can-do attitude. My stuff was hauled with care and nothing was damaged.

Zack and Jeremy did a tremendous job on our move. They were very professional and personable. Once they started they didn't stop until they finished. I would highly recommend.

Jon and his crew were on time, efficient and professional. This was a business move and they worked swiftly and carefully taking the care to be sure nothing was damaged. I will definitely be using them again. Thank you for all your expert advice on this move.
