Local Garage Door Company

This is a rating for the Lube & Tune that I initially hired this company for. Once the technician, Michael, walked in, it was basically him telling me the problem and wanting to repair without doing any lube & tune. I paid $49 for a service that states all the following: Neighborhood Lube & Tune -Lubrication of all major Moving parts on garage door and opener. Includes: springs, hinges, rollers, roller bearings, end bearing plates, spring bearing, chain or belt and sprocket. -Helps reduce noise, prevent wear and extend the life of key components…. Well, zero of that was done and I was charged for someone coming to spray basically WD-40 on six hinges… Michael did leave me with now a quote for an overpriced service to replace the rollers. I now know that with the service from another garage door company, that was able to provide lube&tune, maintenance and repair, it was not overpriced and after explaining to the tech what happened, they state I should not have been charged for a spray on a few door hinges. I DO NOT recommend Local Garage Door Company. The tech, Michael, was very condescending to me. 0/10 if that’s possible. I am so thankful for the other company that came out and was honest and actually helped a new homeowner.

To be fair, LGDC did not perform any work for us, so I don't want to give a negative review. The purpose of this post is to let other potential customers know that other companies will replace springs for $300 less than the quote we received from LGDC.

This is the second time Local Garage Doors has come to our rescue for a broken garage door. (Once for our main door and this time for a 3rd car garage.) We've used other companies several times in the past and in less than a year, our garage would break again. Local Garage Doors fixed my main garage a couple of years ago and it's still going strong. When our other door broke, I knew I wanted to use them again. I was expecting a very expensive repair or even possible replacement, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out our repair was going to be quick, easy and inexpensive! They didn't try to upsell me on anything. How often does that happen? I'd highly recommend Local Garage Doors for any repairs or maintenance!

Tyler and his crew are super knowledgeable and we’re able to provide several options for an old, deteriorating set of three garage doors from a 1983 home. They provided several different to the problem, and completed the work in a very timely and efficient manner. Everything is nowworking great.These guys know what they’re doing, and if you need a garage door repair garage check them out. I highly recommend this local company. Please support them.

I ordered two custom garage doors from this company for my new construction home. When I initially ordered the doors the representative who came out told me where to cut the concrete, the size I was instructed to cut out was to big. Now I have a good sized gap on all sides of my garage that can allow pests and rodents in. They also recommended side mounted garage door openers. The side mounted garage door openers are horrible. They look nice but they're not functional, the metal spool gets messed up and then puts a lot of tension on the system. When I ordered the doors I didn't have power so I asked them to hold off until I get power. It was delayed for a bit and this company was aggressively pushing to install the doors so I let them install the doors for only partial payment since the job wouldn't be completed. When my doors were installed one of the doors was not installed right, it felt like the people who installed my garage doors didn't know what they were doing. Before the final appointment to complete the work Local Garage Doors charged my card for the remaining balance without my permission, the work had not been completed yet. I have never had a company charge me without my permission, they never reached out by phone, email, or text. When they did text me they continously said the owner is pushing for payment and to get it done. I recommend finding a different company to do your garage doors. You'll save yourself a headache and a lot of time.

We had our garage door panels replaced by local garage doors and they were great! The service was awesome, the tech was always on time, very knowledgable and did a great job. The door works wonderfully & would definitely use these guys again in the future!

Tyler came out on a Sunday evening about two hours after we called to report that our spring broke which didn't allow us to open the garage door manually or with the remote. He came over with the parts, was super kind, knowledgeable and prompt at fixing the spring. He offered tips to prolong the life of any garage door and it's parts and was on his way. For the record...this company has the BEST customer service( rare, these days, right?) and great technicians. Been a very happy customer for almost 7 years!! I highly recommend them.

Local Garage Doors was prompt in scheduling the appointment to look at our garage door system. The technician was very knowledgeable and informative of what the problem was and provided many options. A replacement of our system was recommended and completed within a couple hours. We are very pleased with our decision to use Local Garage Doors for our garage door system.

I called them because they offered a $95 diagnostic and tune up. They arrived on time and the guy was knowledgeable and nice. He did the work quickly and proposed do an addition lube on the garage for $350. I decided not to and I did not feel pressured to. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone needing garage door work.

I needed to lubricate my old garage door due to the loud screeches I could not fix. I contacted Local Garage Doors, and Jorge showed up to review the situation. He explained what could be done and asked if I had questions. It turns out it was mainly my old garage door opener making the racket. He replaced the opener with a terrific LiftMaster. However, the garage door still had its issues. I decided to replace it and gave them another call. Jorge returned and showed me photos of the doors so I could choose one. Surprisingly, he said they could complete it the same day, and the new door is fantastic. I loved their communication by text so you know when to expect their arrival. Local Garage is now my ‘go-to’ business, and I highly recommend this excellent company. Thank you for a job well done.
