Complete Chimney Repair & Waterproofing – Bridgeport CT Before & After
This chimney had one flue filled with concrete and failing brickwork. We removed the concrete, rebuilt the top course, and installed a new concrete crown — thicker, stronger, reinforced with rebar, and built with a proper drip edge and expansion joint around the clay flue liners to prevent cracking.
We power washed the entire chimney and applied a clear natural waterproof sealer for long‑term protection. A correctly sized stainless steel cap was installed to prevent water entry and avoid issues caused by multiple caps side‑by‑side.
The leak is now completely resolved and the homeowner is very satisfied.
