⭐ Chimney Renovation Completed – Fairfield Ct Stone Veneer, New Crown & Full Cap Installation
Another project successfully completed by LN Masonry & General Construction.
This chimney was originally brick and in damaged condition. We installed wire lath secured with concrete nails, applied a bonding agent, and then installed stone veneer to ensure proper adhesion and long‑term durability.
The homeowner preferred aluminum, so we installed new aluminum flashing around the chimney.
We also built a new concrete crown with proper overhang and an expansion joint around the flue to prevent cracking.
To finish the project, we installed a full stainless steel chimney cap covering both clay flues, providing added protection and safety.
