Live Wire Athens

In August 2025 our nonprofit dance organization, TIMBAthens, hosted a kick-off event at Live Wire for our inaugural Ritmos y Raíces Athens Dance Weekender and cannot say enough wonderful things about the space. All of our guests loved the venue and especially the musicians who performed that evening. The sound system is state of the art and the staff are exceedingly competent in running events and it was a pleasure to work with them. We have already booked them for the main party during our 2nd annual event this year on August 22nd!

They truly delivered for our tailgate event. Their team handled the food and overall setup seamlessly, creating an excellent experience for our guests. The venue is well-organized, energetic, and perfectly suited for hosting memorable gatherings. We greatly appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail and would absolutely recommend Live Wire Athens for corporate events, tailgates, and private functions.

Erin, Erika and Algy (and the rest of the Live Wire Athens team) were amazing to work with! We were so excited to book our wedding at Live Wire. We had multiple points of contact with a staff that really care about your comfort and experience. They are amazing event professionals and helped to make sure we made choices to both make us happy and make our event run smoothly. We love this venue and so did all of our wedding guests!!

Pinnacle Bank had our Annual Team Member Christmas Party at Live Wire Athens on December 2nd. The facility was perfect for our 150 attendees. We were able to socialize, celebrate, eat, and recognize many great people from our team using the sound and stage. The communication from Live Wire leading up to the event made everything easy, the staff was prepared and met all of our needs.

Live Wire is an A+++ event venue. From the staff, to the layout, it is really enjoyable and open. Shout out to Algy and Erika for making so much magic happen. The outside area had a fire pit and tables for guests to stand around and chit chat. It was a great experience, and if you ever have an event there, make sure to book your catering with BasKat Catering! They did such a great job!! 😁🤤

Beautiful venue for a wedding! We went the day before Halloween; so it was a tiny bit chilly but just perfect for fall. The venue is beautiful with plants and scenery. They did a good job hiding the roads on either side to help it feel more intimate. Their staff were also super friendly and the bartenders did a great job all night.

I recently attended a small networking event at Live Wire Athens, and I was impressed with the venue. It's a truly beautiful space, modern yet warm, with great lighting and a clean, well-maintained environment that made the event feel inviting and professional. The layout worked well for mingling, with plenty of room to move around without it ever feeling cramped. What really stood out to me was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly and attentive. They made sure the event ran smoothly and were quick to help with any questions or needs. They care about creating a positive experience for guests. Overall, Live Wire Athens is an excellent spot for both intimate and larger gatherings. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, welcoming venue in the Athens area.

We chose Live Wire for our wedding because it's family owned, affordable, and the staff was incredible to work with! Erin helped guide us through the process and was consistently responsive. The venue has a great relationship with different vendors around town, which made booking different services really easy! Every single staff member, including bartenders and sound crew, went above and beyond for us. I definitely recommend choosing Live Wire as a wedding venue!

My husband and I planned our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Live Wire Athens. Everyone we worked with was very professional and helped us plan an amazing evening! We were very impressed with the level of service we received and we highly recommend booking with Live Wire to host an event!

We had our wedding reception at live wire, and they were amazing. We had the most perfect reception thanks to them and all of our wonderful vendors. We had lots of meetings before, they would respond to emails quickly, were so organized, and put on everything perfectly. Would highly recommend to anyone!
