The only reason I’m giving this establishment 2 stars is because the doctors and after care of my wisdom tooth removal were all very nice and helpful. Everything other than this was AWFUL. They took months to process my insurance. I had to be messaging them/ calling them consistently or nothing would have been done. I was never notified of any progress unless I reached out for updates. Truly so unprofessional and upsetting. I understand that in the end they did end up helping me out, but why did I, as the client, have to sacrifice my time for my claim to be processed when that is their job? I once said I would be returning to get my wisdom teeth removed here, but this is not the case any longer. They simply cannot be trusted in the aftermath of my care.
Edit: I would just like to add, after the establishments reply, that none of the “struggles” they mentioned were experienced were communicated with me at all. I understand that insurance is out of their control, but the way the situation was handled was not at all professionally treated. As I mentioned previously, if I would have not been consistently following up with the establishment my insurance would have possibly never been processed. In fact, in my first call with them over a month after my initial procedure, one of the girls I spoke to said that my claim was going to be INITIALLY sent out, and that it hadn’t been worked on since the beginning as it should have. Key word, initially. Once again, it’s so disappointing that although these situations do tend to happen, instead of taking responsibility and accountability, it’s immediately backhanded as if my experience is invalid.
