Edit: We've had to move away from using this facility. We needed a large, high cost item; we ordered the part, the supplier didn't properly check their tolerances prior to shipping the axle part. It was 5 mil out, there is no way to find this out until installed. We also were not told that custom orders are non returnable and non-refundable. In a bit of defense for LBG they did refund ~$1300. BUT still the policy was not part of the pre order / purchase information and to have this installed by them would have broken the bank even more. When our 2007 Thomas Saf-T-Liner had an electrical issue they got us in quick and got it fixed quicker. They are all wonderful people! Carl (Parts) and Shauna (Service) are awesome! Thank you is not enough, you and the team are wonderful! Review update (20 May 2021) They are still the best! They do an amazing job and really treat you with proper respect. I cant recommend them enough.

I took our van here to have a rooftop A/C unit fixed that was no longer blowing cold air. I called in to see they service this style of unit and they told me they did. They mentioned that there was a two-hour minimum diagnostic fee of $180 an hour. I agreed to have them look at it as I figured they could probably fix it within the two hours or at least tell me what is wrong with it by then. They called me after they looked at it and said they hit their two hours minimum and that they don't really know what the problem is but that these parts might fix it but they don't guarantee that it will fix the problem. The quote to maybe fix it was $3037.41. I decided to take the van and have a second opinion. The other mechanic looked at the van, found the problem and had it fixed in 45 min. They charged me $175.89 that was to find the problem and fix it. Lewis Bus Group had it for two hours and couldn't find the problem and then wanted to charge me $3000 plus to maybe fix it. Even if they would have replaced the parts that they said would might fix it, would have never even fixed the problem. My wife called in to just have a conversation to see if there was anything they could do to offset their $360 charge and the lady freaked out and told us no because we agreed to the charge. She told us she couldn't even believe we would call in and ask. We weren't expecting to get a full refund as they did look at it. But the lady wasn't even willing to talk about it.  What I didn't agree with and what was not mentioned to me is that they are not competent in A/C units. They had it for two hours and I left knowing nothing more than I did when I took it in the first place. I have uploaded a picture of the quote from both companies. I should say that my A/C is blowing nice and cold now. for half the cost of their diagnostic fee.

Not for the little guy. I have a personally owned little Chevy school bus with a wheelchair lift to transport three handicapped & terminally ill children of mine. Lewis Bus Group made it very clear they do not want little guy business, their core business is school district buses with very large pockets. Needed my wheelchair lift to be serviced to operate, after diagnosing it for a day, they charged me a $200 diagnosis fee. Said they will not do any repairs but will only replace it entirely with a brand new unit which would cost me over $8000. I asked if they could recommend someone else, they said absolutely not, good luck. I took it to a competitor dealership for Braun, they had it repaired for a $120, same day repair.

As a transporter, this is the best place to deliver to! Awesome people… the owners will bend over backwards to help a customer or transporter! I recommend d this business to all potential customers looking for a bus/van or other services.

I took my company bus in there for an estimate and they didn't tell me it was going to be $500 just for the ESTIMATE!! They should tell you up front that they charge for an estimate. Very shady on their part. To think my company was actually going to purchase a bus from them. Not going to happen. I'm taking my business to an honest company!!

The Service there was great. Friendly people that communicate everything that was going on and about how long it would take. They had a confertable seating area with snacks and drinks.
