From the very first meeting, Alex brought warmth, professionalism, and a clear love for trees and their wellbeing. He visited our home about a week before the job, and we could immediately tell he was someone who took both his craft and his relationships seriously. He was kind, attentive, and deeply respectful of the life of the trees. He did not just treat them as objects to prune, but as living beings with stories to preserve. We had a large oak tree in the back, a struggling magnolia, and another oak in the front. Alex took his time walking us through everything with care and precision, even using a laser pointer to map out exactly what would be trimmed or removed. His estimate was thorough and we never felt rushed or uncertain. He arranged for the job to take place on a Saturday, showing up right on schedule with a three-man crew including himself and two others, Chris and Adam. All three of them were incredibly courteous, professional, and kind throughout the entire process. One of the most touching parts of the project was what Alex did with our dying magnolia. I had originally asked for a table-height cut, but Alex gently offered a more thoughtful approach, leaving the trunk higher like a standing pedestal, so there would be room to add a topper later if desired. Even more meaningful, he carefully preserved a five-foot portion of the trunk to be given to my mother's husband, a gifted woodcarver with the APA, so he could carve something beautiful in her memory. That gesture alone showed the depth of Alex’s mindfulness. He did not just remove a tree, he honored it. The care Alex and his team gave to our majestic backyard oak, a tree easily over 84 years old, was nothing short of reverent. This was not just a trimming, it was a restoration. They shaped it proportionally, mindful not to let the tree confuse itself, as Alex so poetically put it. Every cut was intentional, respectful of the tree’s balance, vitality, and ancient presence. They worked with astonishing cleanliness, being extremely courteous to our neighbors by preventing any debris from spilling over, and tidying up as they went along. Alex even made thoughtful adjustments when I noticed a few remaining limbs that did not quite feel right. Without hesitation, he trimmed those areas with care and attention to balance. The same sacred attention was given to the front oak. Alex ensured that essential limbs, the ones feeding the life of the tree, were never compromised. He spoke about trees with such sensitivity, as if tending to living elders. His care was not just technical, it was relational. Throughout the day, the team worked steadily and with grace. Though the guys had brought their own lunch, we offered them some light food and hydrating drinks, which they received with true appreciation. It was a small gesture compared to the heart they poured into the work. Overall, Alex and his team were incredibly friendly, kind, courteous, clean, efficient, and hard-working. They started at 8:30 in the morning, and as I write this at 3 p.m., they are already nearing completion. This was fast, expert work done with integrity, heart, and deep care. They did an amazing job, great clean up. Super fast. The tree was out grown and it was reaching the ground. The only thing i didn’t like, was no notice or confirmation on what day they were coming because i don’t live in the state.

These guys are awesome! They are very hard working and did a great job. They took out 3 trees. Very professional, hard working. They showed up on time, and worked late to get the job done. After seen how hard they work, I have great respect for guys that do this type of work! Not only is it hard work, but very dangerous! They cleaned up after any mess they made nicely. Nick and his crew at Legends are phenomenal! I had a horrible mess of bogenvia wrapped in a 30 year old gum tree destroy my back yard from hurricane Milton. For a fair and honest price they came in with the crew and all their big equipment and cleaned it all up no time. They had 4 saws running at one time and a grapple skidder! They also got the whole yard cut back for me. It was impressive to watch. I'll use Legends again for a large complicated tree removal in the next few months. Thank you Nick and crew. They went above and beyond, Needed a rotten tree gone, Well equipped team with some heavy equipment, other tree guys needed two days to do the job, they did it in 4 hours, well organized, professional and efficient. Reasonably priced too.
