Absolutely thrilled with our new staircase, designed and fitted by Nick with the help of Jim. Fantastic communication from the start and very quick to respond to enquiries and questions - Nick helped us come up with a much safer staircase for our young family. The work took just a couple of days and everything was left tidy and clean at the end. Would HIGHLY recommend! We felt it was a really reasonable quote compared to others we had received too. All was left ready to easily paint and add carpet. Thank you so much!

We contacted Nick to quote for a staircase refurb and understair storage. On first meeting we instantly warmed to him. He provided a quote which although wasn’t the cheapest of the 3 quotes we received, we decided to go ahead with him as we really liked him, plus he was the only one that offered the oak to be pre-finished, which saved a lot of hassle and time of finding another person to finish for us. On the first day, Nick arrived on time and ready to go. He got on with the job with no issues, Jimmy also joined to help with the heavy lifting. Both were extremely hard working. The staircase was removed within a couple of hours and by the end of day one all traces of the old staircase were gone and the understairs was prepped for the storage. At the end of each day everything was cleared away and hoovered up. The workmanship was second to none, every little detail was first class. Nick also added a few finishing touches we hadn’t even thought of. We asked him to add some basic shelves to our cupboard under the stairs where he had fixed a framework for the understair storage drawers. He quietly made a beautiful ‘bookcase’ from the wood used for the understairs storage. We were completely blown away by this, it was fantastic and completely unexpected! All in all Nick and his team did an amazing job, the attention to detail was exceptional. We would not hesitate to recommend Nick to others, in fact we have already passed on his details to some friends. We will definitely be using Leading Edge Joinery in the future. 100% class!

I work with joiners all the time in my job but getting something done for yourself can be quite different. Initially I only needed a staircase fitted but after seeing how well Leading Edge Joinery worked I was keen to invite them back. Superb work! Excellent time keeping, planning and communication. +3 weeks work and cleaned up every day so it was safe for my children each night. After the staircase they returned to build a pergola, understairs shelving, understairs draws and cabinetry, radiator and side shoe rack / bench. All bespoke to my designs. They advised best ways to tweak and achieve the best & highest quality product within a sensible budget. More than fair with pricing, honest and open. Superb knowledge of their trade. I would highly recommend Leading Edge to anyone. (Photos aren't as good as the real thing- NB. radiator to be competed later this week with a fine mesh backing to hide the radiator, we requested the pine shelving and staircase to be left unfinished for us to stain and decorate ourselves)

Can't thank Nick and Craig enough for creating our media wall unit. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted, just a few inspiration photos but Nick was so patient and creative in the design process with plenty of expert guidance. We now have a stunning, solidly built unit that is better than we could've hoped for and they were so quick and tidy to bring it to life.

Fantastic restoration job done on my old staircase. I initially sent photos to Craig, as I live a long way from where Leading Edge Joinery are based. We then discussed the job on the phone and he gave me a very fair quotation. Craig and his apprentice worked extremely hard on the day and carried out a superb, professional renovation. Can’t thank Nick enough for my new staircase! It was a tricky planning job to replace a floating stair with a traditional design in a very small space and he came up with a creative solution that three other companies had failed to do. He was really friendly and efficient with a fair quote and excellent work. He was able to schedule to a time that worked best for me. Plus the final install done was done in less than 2 days and he cleaned and tidied up afterwards! Would highly recommend Leading Edge and would not hesitate to get them back for future jobs.

Nick fitted some bookshelves, storage for vinyl records, and built a new wardrobe and shelves in our home. He managed to match our existing cupboards and tied the whole job together beautifully. His communication throughout was absolutely brilliant and the job was reasonably price and perfectly executed. We couldn't be more delighted with the end result and will definitely be booking him in for more work in the future.

Update August 2023 Nick and Craig have just finished their 3rd project for us. Maximising the space in our daughter’s very small box room and we are so pleased with the result. Excellent service and fabulous finished product as always. Both guys are total professionals, friendly, reliable, informative and great craftsmen who really know their stuff. They worked really hard to achieve what we wanted - and once again it came out better than our expectations. Left everything really tidy and neat at the end of each day. Now thinking about what project I can get Leading Edge Joinery to work on for me next! Would (and have) recommended and all of my friend's who have used them are equally impressed.

Nick has done a brilliant job of updating our old, broken cupboard into a fitted cupboard we’re so proud of. Really impressed - he estimated it would take 3 days and it was done in two. I was so impressed with the way he just ‘got’ the project and made it. The only real decision for me was picking the wood colour! Below is the ‘before and after’ for comparison. Thanks again Matt

I first used Leading Edge Joinery in Nov-2023 to modify / revamp our stairway. I was so impressed with not just the workmanship but professionalism of Nick and Craig, that I invited them back in Jul-2024. On this occasion they fitted a media unit, solid oak doors throughout the house and a radiator cover in the hallway to complement the stairs. It was a pleasure to have Nick and Craig back. The quality of work is first class along with attention to detail to make sure everything is just so before completion. Although specs and designs are provided up front they are more than willing to suggest modifications / improvements as work progresses - things we would never have thought of - to give that unique and bespoke touch. I am very pleased with all of the work they have carried out and my home is certainly much improved as a result. I would certainly recommend using Leading Edge Joinery.
