This customers 320gb Hitachi had suffered a head and board failure, during the process we found it had the same internal parts as the 500gb shown. The drive had been modified during manufacture, which made finding an exact replica donor 320gb drive difficult, so we have used a 500gb and manipulated the head components to work in the customers drive to extract the data.
