Eyes on the Road, Not the Phone.
We all see it. You look at the car next to you, and the driver is looking down at their lap. They are texting, checking emails, or watching a video.
Distracted driving is a plague. The CDC reports that every day, about 9 people in the US are killed in crashes involving a distracted driver. That is 9 families whose lives are ruined for a text message.
Proving the other driver was texting can be hard, but we know how to do it. We can subpoena phone records. We can look at the timestamp of the text and the timestamp of the 911 call. If they match, we have proof.
If you were hit by a distracted driver, it wasn't an accident. It was negligence. We hold them accountable.
