Spring Showers Bring… Slippery Roads.
As the snow melts and the spring rains start, our roads get dangerous. Hydroplaning happens when your tires lose contact with the road and ride on top of the water. It feels like driving on ice.
A lot of drivers think, "I hydroplaned, so it was an unavoidable accident."
That is not usually true.
The law requires drivers to maintain control of their vehicle. If it is raining, you are supposed to slow down. If your tires are bald, you are supposed to replace them. If a driver hits you because they were going 65 mph in a heavy downpour, they were negligent.
Don't let the other driver blame the rain. They had a duty to drive safely for the conditions. We help you prove they were going too fast.
