2023 has proven to be a busy year in the Reston real estate market. Even with the rise in interest rates the market has been responding and prices have continued to rise with the competition. Sellers continue to see more than 1 offer on properties that are priced well to start. The first 2 weeks of August started slower, which is more in line with the pre-covid NOVA summer market as people are traveling and enjoying the last few weeks of "Summer". We expect inventory to increase at the end of August into September which will be helpful for home buyers who haven't had a lot to choose from.
