This review is long overdue, but I still felt very compelled to write the review! This is the BEST Tailor Shop I've ever been to! My daughter's wedding dress and my Mother of the Bride dress was altered by Lara last summer. Lara is amazing to work with and so are the ladies that work for her. She did a wonderful job on both of our dresses. My daughter's dress was too big on top and way too long. She totally took the top apart and rebuilt it, taking out the boning, to make the dress fit my daughter perfectly! The dress had beautiful floral appliqué on the body of the dress. Lara did not just cut through the appliqué of the floral design to hem the dress. She removed the appliqués and placed them perfectly on the body of the skirt making sure the spacing was even on the dress. This was very time consuming, but she wanted the dress to be perfect and it sure was! Lara was not satisfied with the way the top of my Mother of the Bride dress fit when I took it in for alterations. The top was a little too big as well as too long. She took the top and skirt apart and rebuilt the dress so that the top fit perfectly! I have recommended this tailor shop to several people this last year. If you want something done right, take it to Lara. She is so talented and does meticulous work! You will be in the best hands from the minute you walk into her shop!

I brought my wedding dress in to Lara’s in late September for my November destination wedding. My dress, which includes many layers (lace, herringbone, etc), needed to be hemmed and also needed a bustle added. Not only did Lara and the team finish the job early and for a reasonable price, they exhibited warmth and professionalism throughout the process. My dress looked beautiful, and the alterations completed were very high quality. Thank you to Lara and team, for the level of care and craftsmanship you put into to all that you do!

I brought in my wedding dress in February for my April wedding and Lara's Taylor Shop did a fantastic job getting it all done in time. My dress needed a lot of work (hemming, bustle with many layers, sweetheart neckline etc). I was so impressed with their professionalism, expertise, skill, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Lara’s Tailor Shop is the absolute best! Lara and her team are incredibly kind, inviting, and highly talented. I recently had a dress altered here, and I was so impressed by the attention to detail and the perfect fit. They did a phenomenal job and the service is top notch! The best tailor shop. Lara is so sweet, thorough and professional. This was my first visit, to get a dress hemmed. Took only a few days. She was so busy while I was there..that’s always a good sign. I found myself a new shop!

Lara and her team did an AMAZING job altering my wedding dress and even got it done sooner than expected! She was super friendly and just a wonderful person all around! I will continue to go to her for future alterations!

Lara is amazing, I purchased a dress from Dillards for my granddaughters wedding and thought the skirt should be taken in on the sides, I tried it on for her, she said that she didn’t think that I needed to take it in, it just needs to be steamed! She is very honest and saved me money! I am definitely referring her to all of my family and friends!

Absolutely phenomenal tailor. My daughter’s prom dress needed hemmed along with some altering to the bodice to make it more appropriate for a teen girl and not so revealing. Lara added the perfect detail and you would never know it wasn’t always meant to be that way. My daughter’s dress was the showstopper of the evening and her confidence wearing it were in large part to Lara’s work. Thank you!! We will be back again and highly recommend her.

Where do I even begin? From the time I walked into Lara's shop, I just knew I picked the right place to have my wedding dress altered. I've never had to have anything tailored or altered so I was a bit nervous at first, but once I was explained everything thoroughly, I fully trusted them to take over. I had 3 dress fittings and every fitting just got better and better. I was in AWE at my last dress fitting and got chills as soon as I stepped out of the dressing room and stood in front of the mirror!! I forget the other woman's name that worked on my dress as well, but they both did a PHENOMENAL job. Everyone is so kind, fun, and easy to talk to when it comes to getting your questions answered and asking for opinions. My last dress fitting was yesterday and I still am in shock at how beautiful my dress is. My dress was a challenge to work with, as it was an off the rack wedding dress, but they brought her back to life, and in a pretty short timeframe too. The prices are also absolutely reasonable. I can't express how Grateful and Blessed I am for finding Lara's Tailor Shop and I'm so excited to wear my dress for the big day!

We had our daughter’s suits altered after she graduated from law school, and I brought in several of mine as well. Friendly, professional, and exceptional service and incredible quality. Highly recommended.
