I had a positive experience here. My first time to order, the girl at the counter was nice and patient with me to explain everything and let me try couple of items for taste. Black menu is for already prepared items and white menu is made to order. Food was very tasty. I ordered 3 item dish from black menu that came with noodles, steam white rice, spicy chicken, beef and broccoli and jalapeno chicken. Hot and sour soup White menu item chicken and broccoli My only one problem is that they either they forgot to give me steam rice with chicken and broccoli or if it comes additional cost then please specify that on your menu. Not having any rice to eat my chicken and broccoli was not pleasant.

My boyfriend and I got a 2 item combo tonight and it was enough to share. If you are looking for the fast casual type of chinese food in Anaheim then this is your best bet. Not only is lantern garden the best tasting but they are the only chinese restaurant open late in Anaheim plaza or even Anaheim/Orange county in general which we love about this restaurant.

I brought my dad here for his birthday and we all loved our food! We all got the two item combo and for two people plus one mango black tea it came to about $28. Definitely worth it especially since you will not walk out still needing more food. You do have to pay $.50 for their house hot sauce but they have free options as well which was good. 10/10 would recommend!

My first time visiting Lantern Garden and I had an amazing experience thanks to Rose! She’s very awesome. So when you go in please treat her well! Food was delicious 🫶🏽

First time visiting this location, usually I go to the other one closer to my house. Lots of customers when I walked in! I ordered the shrimp fried rice dish from the cooked to order menu, it took about 10 or so minutes since the restaurant was packed with people. Very filling and it’s a great deal, can feed 2 or 3 people easily. The restaurant is well maintained and the employees value the customers. I’ll order again when I come back to the plaza.

Unfortunately this place lacks flavor. The rice taste like nothing, the lo-main taste like salt. And flavor for the beef and broccoli was very mild. And the Mongolian chicken was ok at best. The place looks very nice inside and the service was very good but the food was bland. This was definite miss

I was looking for Chinese food near my house and stumbled upon this lantern garden location which I didn’t know existed until my neighbors told me good things about it. I went for the special bowl with chow mein and added honey shrimp, they actually take the time to fresh cook it in the back for the honey shrimp! It was the perfect sized meal and delicious food. I’ll be back here again with my family too soon!

Me and my wife decided to eat here after picking up groceries at el super. One of the best Chinese restaurant we ate at, we did not know that lantern garden has a store here but we have gone to the one on Lincoln street. We ordered the combo plate with half fried rice and half chow menu with beef broccoli and tofu. Very good food. We will come back if shopping in Anaheim plaza.

I go with my family every week that we visit Anaheim plaza. Lantern garden is our favorite Chinese restaurant because they always serve hot and fresh food at a great price. My favorite is the special bowl option, you get 2 different choices on top of fried rice or white rice. Today I made a spicy special bowl consisting of jalapeño chicken and kung pao chicken, was so good I had to come here to write about it. 🌶😆👌

Very tasty food, one of if not the best Chinese food you’ll find in Anaheim. Price is good for the quality and quantity of food you get. I ordered from the cooked to order menu and got orange chicken, honey shrimp, teriyaki chicken, beef broccoli and house special fried rice. Every dish was well made and tasted fantastic! We were able to feed a family of 7 with everyone being full and happy and have some extras for the next day. We’ll be ordering again very soon.
