Not sanitary, they do NOT clean your lashes before procedures and if you want them cleaned it is a $15 up charge!!!!
We’ll start with parking. No one ever reached out on where to park. I guess it’s across the street. Ok. So, the building is bizarre and like a maze. I could not find the room. It’s also yucky. Not nice. I was a few minutes late but they were fine with it. In addition, I tried to call but there’s no phone number on the web page and there was no way to contact them with the text confirmation.
So idk who she was but she said I had mascara on, which I don’t. I did have a little eyeshadow under my eyes as I had cancer and lost part of my lower left lids lashes. It’s normal looking with the reconstructive surgery but I’m missing a few lashes on the lower outside of that eye. So I always touch it up with a little brown shadow.
So she gives me some stuff to clean my lashes and says to go to the bathroom. I’m like, where’s the bathroom? She says across the hall. Omg! What an incredibly nasty bathroom. So I use the makeup remover and then a foam lash wash. Literally my shadow came off. I have blonde hair and very dark brown lashes by the way.
So I go back and lay down. She then insists I still have mascara on. I don’t. But that’s not the issue. They don’t clean your lashes before doing before doing the procedure. Omfg! Let me say that again. Cleaning your lashes before a lash lift is an up charge. Are you serious?!?! This gave me the ick all over. I have been getting lash lifts for years and years. I have been to a couple places so I know the basic standards. One of which is cleaning the lashes before doing anything. They should not have lotion or oils or anything on them. So, I said I’m going to leave. This is not sanitary.
I have added a picture of my lashes so to be crystal clear, that is what she kept saying I have mascara on. Just wow?!? Why not just charge the $15 more from the beginning. Lashes need to be cleaned before you do anything to them.
Oh and they do have parking and will validate. But yeah I don’t care. Go at your own risk.
