Why does my car shake when I brake?
When Cars or Trucks Shake only when Braking the Brake Rotors or Drums need to be checked for Excessive Runout. Runout means the surface is uneven. The uneven surface happens for different reasons. It can for instance happen from a loose Wheel Bearing allowing the Rotor to wobble as the Wheel is rotating wearing the Rotor unevenly. It can happen from a sticking Brake Caliper that is causing the Rotor to overheat. If your Car or Truck Shakes when you Brake, Lakeview Automotive can help!
