We recently finished an extensive exterior cleaning of a beautiful lakefront home in the Stephenson Lakes area of Chapin, SC, managed by Lakeside Softwash. Utilizing gentle yet effective cleaning methods, we began with softwashing the exterior brick, retaining walls, front porch, and sidewalks, which is particularly suitable for brick as it employs low pressure and specialized solutions to remove dirt and biological growth without harming the masonry. This approach ensures a more durable clean compared to traditional high-pressure washing.
Following this, we removed leaves and debris from the roof and carport to prepare for treatment, then softwashed both areas to eliminate organic growth while safeguarding the shingles. We then performed a comprehensive house wash using softwashing techniques, revitalizing the siding and exterior surfaces by effectively removing mildew and dirt without risking damage to delicate materials.
