Lake Taxis

Lake Taxis transport my vulnerable relative with dementia to and from her day-care each week for me. I cannot recommend them highly enough - always a kind, professional and reliable service.

Have just used Lake Taxis for transport to and from the Isle of Wight Festival for the last 4 days, absolutely faultless service we cannot recommend them highly enough. Prompt, polite / friendly service from Paul and Tony, good price and excellent communication at all times. They are a credit to the taxi service business thank you so much for adding to the enjoyment of the festival (booked in the name of Cleve)

We're here on holiday in the IOW and it was our first day, we tried to cover a lot of activities and areas to see. We misjudged the times and the walk so we tried to call the cab that our lodge service gave us and they didn't pick up the 3 times we called during the day. We got Lake Taxi number from a local Tesco Express who also was very helpful and polite, called late taxi as we didn't want to wait an hour for a bus and then get home even later. Call was answered and we got a taxi in 10 minutes, best service, polite, professional and only a couple of £ more than the 2 busses we would have taken. Definitely recommend and will call again if needed.

Needed a taxi after 2023’s New Year’s Eve celebrations but left it late to book Rang Lake Taxis (Tony) who although fully booked between 12 - 1.30am fitted us in afterwards. Driver Paul turned up on time and was very pleasant! The charge was surprisingly (given the time and past costly experience of friends) was very reasonable!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Since moving to lake I have been using this firm regularly. All the driver's are friendly and helpful . Taxis are always on time . Mr York the owner has a good Telephone Manner and will always try to juggle about his driver's to fit his customers in . Would recommend 100% .

Efficient service and polite driver

Used Lake Taxis on recent visit to IOW to get from hotel to family wedding. Quick efficient service, didn't know what time I would need a return trip. When I was ready to return to my hotel I called them and they were able to fit us in. Excellent service very friendly and reliable.

Awesome Team of guys much more than just a Taxi service. Have been so helpful and supportive. The drivers always friendly and fair. I always feel looked after and safe with these guys. I have seen first hand how people of all walks of life are treated with the same kindness and courtesy by this taxi firm but for a local or loyal and regular customer you wont find a better service. Many locals will know this but If you have health issues and find using transport challenging and difficult these guys will look after you and put you at ease. Often going above and beyond to help make your journey as straight forward and pleasant as possible with utmost professionalism. Would be lost without these guys. Thankyou

You won't get a more reliable service. Turned up bang on time for us ( twice) over bank hols. Good firm to deal with.

Worst service ever. We called them at late evening to book taxi and they were sound like 4 to 5 drunk men voices. and mimicking my voice. Was got scared and cut the call. never going to call them again. not recommended
