When a construction project next to our property dumped 1000's of cubic yards of silt into our lake, I reached out for several bids. The construction company that caused the damage to our lake was going to have to pay for the cleanup. While Lake Inc was not the cheapest, they appeared the most experienced and knowledgable. Their quote was based upon their estimation of the amount of silt in the lake and the amount of work that had to be done. They had estimated more silt than the other companies, and they were right. Since I had to negotiate the money with the construction company that caused the damages before I could hire anyone, I would have been in a world of hurt had I hired any of the other bidders because they had misjudged the amount of silt in the lake. Matt and Mitch were great to work with too. They communicated with me their progress and if there were any issues. They stayed on budget and they did a great job. I would definitely hire them again. Very quick to respond and react. Matt was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He walked us through the issues from start to finish and explained how he felt it was best to approach it. He removed and replaced the rusted out drain pipe for our pond He dredged out the pond and cleaned up an area of land on the other side. Matt came to my rescue when a dead tree root sprung a leak in my lake's dam. Patched and permanently fixed the next day. Great guys to work with and all the right equipment to get the job done.

Matt Cagle provided our HOA with the most comprehensive proposal to dredge our neighborhood retention pond and install a new siphon drainage system to replace our outdated and poorly functioning drain at the most competitive price. Prior to our HOA approving his proposal, he met with our Board and interested neighbors to discuss his proposal and answer any questions. Once we got a dry weather window, he and his team were able to dredge material over the course of about one week and get the new drain installed. About nine months after the work was completed, the pond stopped draining and Matt made a special trip from Gainesville to Marietta to look at our situation. As it turned out, beavers had returned to our pond and blocked the drain pipe, and Matt was able to clear the blockage. After trapping and removing the beavers, which of course quickly re-clogged the drain pipe, Matt made another special trip, at no charge, to clear the blockage. Our HOA will plan to use Matt and Lake, Inc. for future dredging needs.

I can’t say enough good things about Matt and his company. He has done several things for my pond and everything has gone well. When I have had an “emergency”, he has always been quick to respond and handle the problem in a timely and cost effective manner. I feel lucky to have him in NE GA to provide the pond services he provides. I would highly recommend him!!
