The wait time is AWFUL! I’ve also over heard the front desk lady saying how their patients are not getting the proper treatment due to inventory missing/not being ordered, not one patient is aware of this! I should feel comfortable and trusted your practice to doing my dental treatment done right. Now I have to spend twice the amount of money because of your negligence. Also ALL THEIR STAFF quit in the same day, I was sitting at the front and all of them decided to walk out. Which is leaving a lot to desire. Dr Shrager is not making a good first impression in our town. Do not DO NOT waste your time. They have people working on you without being certified/licensed!!!!!

LONG POST……I had to give a star to even post…Since Dr. Crenshaw retired and Dr. Haight has left, this practice has become a huge disappointment and very very chaotic…. Every-time I have been in for my appointments or with my mother in law it’s been complete chaos. I did have one positive experience and that was with the new hygienist Makayla. She did a phenomenal job with my cleaning and she was very informative like I’ve never seen by other hygienists as long as I’ve been going there. The front desk people seemed to be very confused and not sure what’s going on when asked questions about my insurance or account they were all over the place and it took 3 of them to even try and make it make sense and it still did not….…My family and myself have been patients there for over 25 years and our last appointment will be our last. I’d rather drive an hour than to deal with that unorganized chaos. The last 6 years we had the greatest pleasure of getting to know and deal with Danielle the office manager of Littleton because she was always very helpful and knew exactly what was going on with the practice if we had a question she always made sure to answer and made sure we were taking care of with the upmost professionalism and respect, if it were problems with our insurance such as delays she would always call to update us throughout the process. I’m sure she did this with all of her patients. I say this because I go in for my appointment and asked to speak with her because I wanted to express my concerns of my appointments being rescheduled not just once but 3 times and was done the day of and that I’ve also left several voicemails and no one has returned my calls. The lady at the front proceeded to tell me she was no longer there that she was terminated about 2 weeks prior. All I can say now is I see why it has become more chaotic that’s definitely a huge mistake because she always made sure the patients were taken care of. I later have to take my mother in law to her appointment that is scheduled on a Friday at 9:30 now granted she is in her late 80s. 10:10 rolls around and the doctor(the new owner) was supposed to be there at 9:30 had not even gotten there yet. My mother in law was getting irritated so we rescheduled and left but she wanted to go else where so we cancelled her appointment with Lake Gaston Dental. They have no respect for the patients time and makes it like the patient has to wait until whenever she decides to get there and that will not work in this small town. When I went for my cleaning I was in that office for almost 2 hours I have never ever been in that office longer than an hour. When my husband went and was having a toothache this was another Friday the owner was there as the doctor and she didn’t order no X-ray and didn’t even look in his mouth she had the front desk call in a prescription for antibiotics and told him he needed to come back with the other Dr. the following week so he could diagnose it. She even charged him for an exam which was $86 when she didn’t even examine him. He was told if he gave a good google review they would give him a $50 discount but it had to be a good review nothing negative. The new owner(s) need to understand this is not Raleigh and our morals and integrity to our community is more important than anything money can buy! I can honestly say word travels fast in Halifax and Warren county and I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Office Neglected to mention no longer contracted with BCBS before the appointment since taking over from Dr. Crenshaw. His announcement was in January and six months later still not contracted. Costs associated with self-pay might make a person look elsewhere for dental services.

Been going there for several years and since the 2 dentists retired and the new practice took over, it’s a nightmare. I went there in September for a cleaning. I Arrive for my appointment I checked to make sure they took my insurance. They told me yes., I came out after finishing up with my cleaning asked them again. They told me I didn’t owe anything. My insurance covered it. Fast forward to March 2026 I receive a bill in the mail for multiple charges The reason I changed to Blue Cross Blue Shield was that I was told they took my insurance under the prior practice You would think that the new practice would have the courtesy to tell you if they weren’t taking your insurance anymore And you would also think that the staff upfront would’ve known When I asked them multiple times before and after my appointment They honestly don’t know what they’re doing there Very disappointed because now I have to find another dentist
