George (owner) and his skilled crew did an outstanding job with my project. The front yard had drainage issues and lacked curb appeal, and I didn’t have the imagination to articulate what I wanted – but I’d know it if I saw it. He proposed several ideas to narrow the focus on a final solution, and presented them in a graphic design allowing me to envision the end result. It was perfect and within my budget. The re-contoured yard and buried downspouts drain water away from the house. Cobbled pavers expand and enhance the entry walkway and feature a round knee-high block wall with a Japanese maple in the center. Brick curbing in semi-circles define the mulched areas against the house. I trusted his certified arborist expertise to select over 60 plants to decorate the landscape and deter deer. When the sun sets, curb appeal endures with the added lighting. It has been an extraordinary transformation. I couldn’t get other landscapers to call back or show interest. Wintergreen surveyed twice, took pictures and measurements, and emailed several times with rough ideas…then quit communicating. Never had that problem with La Plata Landscape. George initiated/returned phone calls and managed expectations very well. I recommended him to a neighbor experiencing the same brush-off from landscapers, and they're now very satisfied customers as well. Call La Plata Landscape, you won’t be disappointed.

First interaction with LaPlata Landscape was amazing. I had a highly traveled path that was muddy and grassy. George was understanding of my concerns and knowledgeable of many solutions. He took the time to address things I hadn’t even considered, and was caring to not only meet my family’s needs, but our two large dogs as well! We settled on a stone walkway that looks absolutely amazing! The price was the best around the area too! George and his team transformed our backyard, we have new grass growing and we have been able to keep mud out of our house. I will be using LaPlata Landscape in the future for my all my outdoor needs!
