Our stay was wonderful, such a blessing, thank you. The property is gorgeous and perfectly located. Our room was spotless, well stocked with amenities and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. The service went way above and beyond - our grateful thanks to Andy, Adan and Jesse - they couldn’t have been more attentive or accommodating. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!!

This was a beautiful stay for me and my husband. We celebrated 18yrs ago when I had a rare disease and miraculously healed by God. Staying here has made us reflect on God's goodness and joy. Our room was amazing and the Chapel completed the entire stay. The environment was so relaxing and a wonderful serene setting to put away the cell phones and enjoy God's goodness. Thank you so much to the whole La Palmilla Staff and family for making such a treasured and momentous place for all to embrace and enjoy. Peace and blessings to you all!

Just finished sons wedding. Venue was excellent. 5 stars not high enough for the room, location and service. Staff made us feel like family. Any calls we made for things needed handled immediately. Example heating of hot tub or golf cart to transport elderly to wedding. Rooms. pool, hot tub. property had a spa like feel. Trails to Brazos river well maintained. Kids can hike. Pickle ball area. Best part dogs welcome since sons 2 fur babies in wedding. Going back with family this summer. Thanks you to La Palmilla Staff. Miss you already. Sinclair family ...

The company that I work for held its annual Christmas party here at La Palmillia, Glen Rose, a beautiful southwest style hotel, and wedding venue, and the entire experience was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The property has a pristine blend of rustic western charm and modern comfort— cozy high quality linens, interior design impeccable, white villas, warm Adobe colors, beautifully landscaped grounds, and that unmistakable Southwest atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed the moment that you arrive. The event space was stunning and perfectly suited for a large gathering. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, from set up to service for hours to come. The food was excellent, the ambience inviting, cleanliness was top priority from the Catina to the bathroom in our room, and every detail made us feel that all was carefully thought out. Truly fantastic experience that we definitely want to bring our family with us to experience it again— next time at an even longer stay. Whether you are hosting an event, attending a wedding or just looking for a stunning place to unwind, this venue truly delivers. We highly recommend!

A Perfect Stay – Beyond Expectations! From the moment we stepped into this villa, we knew it was going to be a stay like no other. The quality of the property is simply top-notch in every way. The interiors are not only beautifully designed but also thoughtfully furnished with luxurious touches that made us feel like we were in a five-star resort. Every room is immaculate, with pristine cleanliness that is so often overlooked but was definitely not here. The housekeeping team does an incredible job keeping everything spotless, ensuring we had a fresh, clean environment to relax in throughout our stay. The villa is equipped with all the amenities you could possibly need – from state-of-the-art kitchen appliances to high-end bathroom fixtures, every detail has been carefully considered to provide ultimate comfort and convenience. The outdoor space is just as impressive, with stunning views and a well-maintained pool area that offered the perfect backdrop for relaxing afternoons. What truly sets this villa apart, however, is the exceptional service and attention to detail. Whether it was the welcoming hosts, or the little touches like fresh towels by the pool, it felt like every need was anticipated. ​We recently had a two-night stay at La Palmilla with my two young boys and our dog. The staff was fantastic, moving us to a pet-friendly room near the parking before we arrived. ​The property is beautiful, feeling like a little Spanish town with a chapel and central court. Our room was clean and rustic, and we enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, pickleball court, and complimentary breakfast. ​ At first, the property felt eerily secluded upon arrival. My main concern was the room's security: the door only had a handle lock, with no deadbolt. As a mom with two kids, I felt unsafe. But after the second day, I felt better as there was a wedding party with many people. The wedding was beautiful and this is the perfect place for a wedding!

We stayed here for just a night after a day trip to Dinosaur Valley State Park — and wished we had longer to stay! The grounds are beautiful and the villas/casitas are so nice and spacious. We were met by Adan who helped us to our room- it is offseason but he offered to make a pizza for my girls for dinner and it was delicious. Can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer and explore more! Highly recommend!

We’ve stayed here before and had a wonderful experience, so we decided to return and begin a new family tradition of visiting around Thanksgiving. This time we chose a casita for a little more space. The room itself was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. However, the kids wanted their own beds and we also needed a full kitchen, so the layout wasn’t ideal for us. One concern we had was the bathroom window—its frosting is wearing off, and you can see through it from the outside. Even though it’s positioned high, it still feels like a privacy issue. Our biggest disappointment was that the spa wasn’t heated this time. On our last Thanksgiving visit, it was 40 degrees outside and the whole family still enjoyed getting in because it was nice and warm. This time, the kids only lasted about 10 minutes before being told the heater was out. We even left Granbury early so they could swim, but unfortunately it didn’t work out. Breakfast has also changed. They no longer offer the buffet-style breakfast and instead sell food out of a taco trailer. The food was good and fairly priced, but it does take away from the traditional hotel experience, and it didn’t quite compare to what they used to serve. All that said, we still love La Palmilla. We plan to continue visiting every year and hope they keep working toward offering an experience that’s even better than a typical hotel stay.

We had our wedding here and stayed for the weekend, and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The hotel is elegant and luxurious, and the grounds are just truly breathtaking. The staff was attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. Every detail was handled with care and sophistication. I highly recommend La Palmilla to anyone looking for a stunning venue and exceptional experience. If you aew just looking for a weekend getaway, this is the place that you need to come. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. If you’re looking for one of the best margaritas you’ll ever have, ask Andy for one of his. They actually grow the Rosemary that he adds to it outside in their garden. We cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. It’s truly magical.

I literally cannot say enough about this venue. We had our wedding here last weekend, obviously the venue itself is stunning, like even more so in person if that’s possible, but what truly set it apart was the insane staff! I said it probably a million times over the weekend that I’ve never seen better hospitality in my entire life and I truly mean it. My guests had an incredible time, my husband and I had the time of our lives, and if we didn’t live across the country, we’d literally be there again next weekend :’) pls do yourself a favor and book here <3
