We contacted L Groundworkers & Landscapers Ltd about extending an existing patio area in our garden. Lucian came out to see us to gain an understanding of what it is that we wanted to achieve and then provided a very reasonable quote for the job. A little over a week later and its done! Albeit, someone will be returning tomorrow just to finish the joins. Over the years we have used various people to do these sorts of jobs for us, but the experience with Lucian and his team has been by far the best. We could not be happier with the result. The most impressive aspect for me has been the attention to detail. The fence line at the rear is at a slight angle and most people would have not bothered with cutting the slabs or sleepers to match (seeing as it is not really noticeable from the front). Lucian and his team though went above and beyond, ensuring every detail was perfect. At the end everything was cleaned up and they even went as far as adding grass seed to areas of the lawn which had been affected by back and forth trips with wheelbarrows. We know who we will be using from now one for any garden work. Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish and I cannot recommend these guys enough!

Lucian and his team did an amazing job of transforming our back garden. They were hard working, polite, and the work was carried out in good time. The porcelain patio area in particular looks amazing, we are so happy and have had lots of compliments for our new garden… we love it! I would highly recommend Lucian, he is eager to please, his prices are also very competitive… we are hoping to use them again for our driveway.

Lucian and his team did a fantastic job of our front porch and backyard patios. We went with a tumbled limestone tile, which he was able to source and advise on. He and his team worked tirelessly to complete the project to an exceptional standard. He is very knowledgable and able to guide, as well as willing to adapt to any changes/issues cropping up. Not only was he able to fit us in quickly but he completed the work in time for us to enjoy the good weather. He is friendly, honest and clearly takes pride in competing work to a high standard. A sudden bout of windy weather revealed a loose fence post so I checked out local tradespeople and found Lucian. He visited later that day and gave an acceptable quote. A day or two later he turned up with all the tools (including a pneumatic drill!) and removed the stonework below the old post. Never have I seen such work done so quickly. The job was completed via a replacement support section and an underground pond of quick-set concrete - done within about 30 minutes or so. Very happy with his work.

Fantastic work ethic, communication and pricing. I cannot fault them. They have also been flexible when my plans and ideas have changed. I’m new to the area and female so trying to find local tradespeople has been painful but these guys have just been great and I’m so glad I found them. Lucian was a pleasure to deal with. Explained everything to us, which was really reassuring, as we were having serious problems with our Indian sandstone patio that had been installed by another business a few years ago. He and his team worked so hard and tidied up each day, which was much appreciated. Competitive price, good communication and turned up when he said he would. Would definitely use his services again and recommend to family and friends.

Lucian and his team did a fantastic job on our garden project which involved completely re landscaping the front drive and entire back garden. They were punctual, very tidy and kept us updated and informed the entire time. Lucians attention for detail was excellent and he would suggest ideas and things that we had not thought of to enhance our project. The whole project came in just under budget and Lucian kept us constantly in the loop with any additional costs so there were no nasty surprises! The final results were of excellent quality and the works were competitively priced. Lucian and his team were amazing. From the first point of contact his quotes were detailed and transparent. He is professional and all his team work extremely hard always checking in and explaining everything throughout the process. Site was always left tidy and secure. They demolished garage, single storey extension and dug up removed soil and concrete front and back of house, foundations including bay foundations along party wall and floor and brick to finish floor line. Also finished with driveway and porcelain patio.

We contacted Lucian at very late notice to perform the groundworks for our extension after being let down by another contractor, Lucian was able to make a start instantly and we were so happy with the work and price we asked them back several months later for our patio. Would reccomend to anyone and will ask them back again if we ever needed more work done.

I recently used L. Groundworks and Landscapes Ltd. to pave quite a large area in my garden and am extremely happy with the work carried out. Lucian and his workmen were hardworking, efficient and excellent from beginning to end. They worked through all weather, at weekends and sometimes from 7.30 in the morning until after 5.00pm with hardly any breaks, leaving everything neat and tidy at the end of each day. Nothing was too much trouble and the finished area, which includes a patch of shingle, looks amazing. They clearly worked to a very high standard: I would certainly recommend this company and would happily use them again. They were a delight to have at my property.
