Dr. Callaway is a board certified, fellowship trained, orthopedic spine surgeon who specializes in both surgical and nonoperative management of spine conditions. He has a special interest in providing the least invasive approach to manage the patient’s condition and has special training in minimally invasive spine surgical techniques, robotic spine surgery, and motion preservation. Dr. Callaway attended both Oconee County and Athens Academy for high school. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia. Dr. Callaway is an amazing physician with a great bedside manner! He explains things in terms that patients understand. His professionalism is a notch above what I am used to seeing. His staff is the same way....very polite, very friendly, and very helpful. I would recommend him 100%!

Dr. Callaway listened well and developed solutions that are forward thinking and realistic which have improved my daily quality of life. I switched last fall from a major orthopedic organization in Athens after nearly a decade of feeling minimized and could not be happier with my decision.
