KS Autocare - Best Auto Repair Shop in Elgin IL

I had a great experience at KS Autocare. I brought my vehicle in for a full inspection, oil change, and transmission fluid service, and everything was handled professionally from start to finish. They were thorough with the inspection and took the time to clearly explain what they found without any pressure or upselling. The oil change and transmission fluid change were completed efficiently, and the pricing was fair and transparent. What stood out most was their honesty and communication. It’s hard to find a shop you can trust, and KS Auto Care definitely earned mine. My car is running great, and I’ll be coming back for future maintenance. Highly recommend if you’re in the Elgin area.

Automotive repair is something we all hate because it seems like its always costly and never something we budget for. Plus, can we trust the mechanic? We brought my son's Jetta in for rear brakes and bearings. Seth called us back with an estimate and with pictures to back it up. My husband & I have brought our cars to them for years, never disappointed, pleased with their professionalism, service and price. Seth called us back with the final bill but it was much less then initially quoted. His mechanic said the labor wasn't as long as anticipated allowing them to drop the price! In this world how often does that happen? I was also given a free rose from a local florist, (Deb's Designs South Elgin). WOW it's stuff like this that makes people keep coming back to K&S! Honesty, experience and service. We saved money for our son plus I walked away with a beautiful Rose! It doesn't get much better than that!!!

KS auto was excellent in their services. The most work I had to do was sign off on the work and pick up my car. Every detail was broken down for me to understand what was wrong and what needed to be done immediately. The estimate email I received was top notch. All I had to do was go over the issues and sign off on the work. It breaks down every detail of what they found and what they will do to fix it. The car runs well and will definitely be going back for any other maintenance needed.

Had them do a flush of the transmission fluid and engine coolant on my daily driver. Made an appointment in advsnce, dropped it off on time and was given a shuttle ridd home. Vehicle was ready by the end of the day, and I'm sure the ASE certified techs did the work properly. Seth was friendly and guided me through the process professionally. All in all, a good first experience with this shop - I plan on using them for all my car care needs in the future.

I took my Tesla model 3 in for an inspection due to a noise being heard in the cabin. Seth and Michael took good care were communicative and send photos and video of the issue they found during inspection. They were able to fix the problem and return my vehicle the next day! Great service and skilled mechanics highly recommend!

They sent a link to a report with lots of photos and videos and walked me through each issue they found. Had a hatch latch decide to quit working suddenly. Remembered I had received some mailings from KS and gave them a call. They were a god send. Got me in right away, ordered part and repaired same day! They are now my "go to" auto repair shop! Thanks Seth for getting this done and that great sense of humor!

I am happy I found this auto repair shop. I haven't had the best of luck with previous shops in the past. Seth was very nice and explained the issues with my car thoroughly. He was also kind enough to give me a discount from the flyers they were mailing out. I will definitely be going back to get my other repairs done. I highly recommend KS.
