Michael it a great example of a kind compassionate caring person the right person for the job. He makes sure that not only my husband's funeral was taken care of he also makes sure I am taken care of. He made this difficult time easier for me. He follow through and most important he treated me like a family. If I can give more than 5 stars I will because Michael deserves 100 or more stars

As a funeral director who runs a crematory, I have an expectation for this industry. But when I lost my father—the first man I ever loved and the one I hold all standards to—I was simply a daughter in need of support.
From the pre-arrangements years ago to my father’s cremation, Michael Horkan at Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home provided an experience that was profoundly compassionate. He extended me the professional courtesy of allowing me to accompany my father during transport and took such meticulous care in dressing him, making him handsome for a private moment that brought me immense comfort.
When we arrived at Maclennan Hall Crematorium, I was blown away. It was immaculately clean, and the staff treated my father with a level of respect that surpassed all my expectations. It isn’t just a job to Michael; he has a genuine heart for this industry and for the families he serves. I also want to specifically mention Billy for all his help in assisting Michael. Billy is such a compassionate person, and the care he provided was a true source of comfort. I wish Billy all the success in the world as he navigates his journey in this profession; he has the heart for it.
Michael and Billy were supportive from the start to the very last moment, and because of this care, my family is already seeking their guidance for future needs. Michael, I offer you my deepest and most profound thank you. You didn't just handle a transition; you protected my father and held space for my heart.
