So, I called and made an appointment at safelite, and arrived on time at my appointment, but when I arrived, they told me I had to leave my car and I'd get a phone call at the end of the day when my car was done.
Not going to happen, my car is a Shelby, not a minivan, and I'm not about to leave my Shelby there for the entire day, knowing that one, if not all of the people that work there are salivating at a chance to take my car for a joy ride.
After I called safelite corporate office, they switched me back to the location, and was told the same story. Bye bye safelite, I'm not going to make an appointment, and have my car sit there all day.
So while in safelites parking lot, I called KMAK Auto Glass, and felt IMMEDIATELY like I was being taken seriously.
Got a quote for an OEM windshield that was more than $100 cheaper than safelite, and to put the cherry on top, it was going to be done at my home, no leaving my car all day anywhere. So I scheduled for the next morning.
Tech shows up, immediately gets to work.
Before I knew, it was done.
Seriously, how does safelite stay in business when there are awesome companies like KMAK Auto Glass out there, dedicated to TRUE customer satisfaction?
