I recently had my kitchen redone by Kitchen and Bath Decor and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The final product turned out absolutely beautiful, transforming the heart of my home into a stunning space. Despite their later work schedule, the installers were incredibly accommodating and professional. They were not only skilled but also very courteous and respectful of my home. The staff was friendly and genuinely nice throughout the entire process, making the renovation experience as smooth as possible. I highly recommend Kitchen and Bath Decor for anyone looking to enhance their home. Their attention to detail and customer service truly sets them apart!

We’re eleven weeks into our project and all we have is a demolished bathroom, a tub in the garage, and a list of reasons why they can’t get the next step done. We thought this place would offer us a turnkey bathroom remodel. We went to the I-10 and Durham showroom in October 2023 to make arrangements. They had a beautiful selection, glowing reviews, an apparently well organized design process, and years of time in the area. We were promised completion in 4-6 weeks once the work started if we paid up front. On Jan 4 2024 we messaged the project manager they could begin work. The demolition wasn’t complete until Feb 1 but was very professionally done. Since then: - They sent two plumbers to give bids. One bid had no plumbing license or company listed (just a name and personal contact) and we couldn’t find the name in the Texas plumbing license database. We never saw the other. - They told us they couldn’t separate our portion of the plumbing cost from theirs on the other plumber. I would think they do this daily. They finally agreed we should use our own plumber and promised a meager $250 credit we have yet to see. - We asked for the tub in mid March and we didn’t get it until April 5. - We asked for the tile three weeks ago and still haven’t gotten it. - The project manager sometimes takes days to respond to us and usually just tells us why there will be another delay. We are hoping to receive the tile and other materials from them this week and see if they can get to tiling the floor once the drain is done. During all this time they could have been working on drywall and framing the shower. Instead… nothing.

Sadly I must bring local awareness about this Houston company off Durham Dr. I signed a contract in Oct 2023, paid in full (as per their company policy as did all their other clients) for 2 bathroom remodels. Communication is absolutely lacking. I have had to make first contact with them in every step of the process. They had great communication in the beginning but once they got my money, communication went downhill, essentially got ghosted. We had a "start date" of January 23, 2024. Then one of their subcontractors came and demolished one of the bathrooms. When I inquired when he would return to actually start work, this guy was absolutely clueless. Then started the string of emails and texts to KBD and every response is so generalized and lacks substance and most important lacks ACTION. Someone is sick, endless excuses, "we'll get back to you about this" and no one gets back to you until I have to contact them again. This has been going on for MONTHS NOW. Yes, they demolished my bathroom two months ago and never returned to actually remodel it. Clearly by other reviews, this is not a unique case and seems to be a common complaint: Taking full payment upfront, demolish one area of house, then not returning for actual remodel. I have hired an attorney at this point, they know this and yet have not responded to the attorney either. My attorney has agreed the company has breached contract by obviously not holding to their expectation of actually providing any services. I trusted them because they have a lovely showroom however clearly this is a facade. What company takes your money, fails to provide services...for 6 months?! I emailed them earlier this week for an update to which I received a response that they will get back to me. It has been 4 days and that should be plenty time to come up with an answer. If they can come and finish up the bathroom they demolished two months ago and refund me the master bath that they never started on, then your reputation may get a clean slate. Update #1: as company replied, someone did come out today 4/15 however only to briefly look at the bathroom then reported they will deliver tub this week. No work has still been actually started. will update this thread if there is any progress... still waiting to get our master bath repaid to us.

I had a great experience with KBD for my bathroom remodeling project. Right after the first call with Celeste I knew that this was the right company for me as she paid attention to my wishes, asked critical questions, and didn't try to push just the standard bathroom design onto me. I love that I could discuss pros and cons of certain design decisions and materials with Celeste , throughout the process and that she made sure we don't lose sight of the one major requirement that I made very clear in the beginning "It has to be easy to clean". The contractors did a wonderful job in fulfilling my high demand for attention to detail and in dealing with all the uncommon materials and fixtures that I brought in. I was very happy that they always offered their expertise when it came to making decisions about how things should be done right on the job site. I certainly didn't always make it easy for them but they went above and beyond every time - they even managed to make crooked walls look straight with their magic tiling skills. Last but not least, Jonathan and Adrian were great to work with too - always following up quickly and keeping the payment schedule very clear. We will soon start to plan the next bathroom remodeling with the team!

Last year, we decided to renovate our home to prepare for the possibility of my aging parents or aunt moving in with us. we stumbled upon an ad for Kitchen and Bath Décor & More (They have changed their name again.) and decided to check them out. Their website boasted of being “Houston’s Best,” “#1 choice,” “0% financing,” and being "featured on HGTV!” We should have seen the signs. June 17, 2023, Celeste Haddad was 4 hours late to our 5 o’clock appointment. Jonathan Neil, Director of Operations, offered us dinner, wine, soft drinks; we should have left. Finally after signing the agreement, Celeste sent Jonathan to our home at a 11pm to collect the deposit or else the price would go up, another red flag. At the time of contract signing, they had said our project would not take any time at all and should be done by Christmas with a start date of September, The completion date never written down, another sign. All along the way, we were reassured that our project was easy and there should not be any problems. We expected the completion of the project within a reasonable timeframe and with the expertise and quality of workmanship that they had assured us. Our project is still not complete, not even the kitchen despite being paid in full. Our kitchen island, a central feature of our home, was cut 4" too narrow. What was once a functional island has now been rendered impractical by making it a counter. This impacts our daily use of the space and has significant implications for the resale value of our home. The wall in the kitchen is still damaged from the tile removal. It has now been 5 months since we first reported the issue regarding our kitchen island, and yet it remains unresolved. I do not trust them to remove it and reinstall. The easiest bathroom was started in January & they have not come back since March 6 when they tiled the tub area. A sub-contractors threatened to put a lien our home because KBD stopped payment on his check. March 26, KBD received a letter & a Termination Agreement via tracked mail from us. Ironically, the 27 of March, Jonathan Neil, director of operations reached out to me to finish the Cat Bathroom and told me that "Accounting" had approved my Kitchen Island replacement which he had said would be replaced many times before. He wanted to come out on April 2 when I had jury duty. I did not hear from them until I followed up on the 8th of April. Ironically, they wanted to come 10th which they canceled the last minute due to medical/health reasons. April 11, 2024, I sent an option for a quick fair resolution which was delivered to Celeste's emails. Our desired solution stated in the Termination Agreement: Completion of the cat bathroom, retrieval of their materials, and a refund $33,149.17 for 2 projects that they have not started or completed in a reasonable time (Master Bath & Guest bathroom). I have lost faith in this company and Jonathan Neil. I have text after text of excuses why they cannot come or complete my project. I wish I would have seen the BBB failing grade and the reviews there. I wish I would have paid attention to the flags.

My vision for my bathroom has finally come true. I went to kitchen and bath, decor, with a vision. I addressed my vision to Celeste and she was able to bring it to life. Which such wide variety of colors, styles, and ideas everything came together so perfectly. It’s better than I envisioned. And I am just getting started. My bathroom is now done and looking fabulous as ever. I can’t wait to start on the other rooms of the house. Got so many ideas from their amazing on site show room. Can’t wait to start our new project. Highly recommend this place had the best experience with friendly staff and beautiful designs to select from no matter what you’re looking for. Thank you again for my face lift on my bathroom.

By 3rd quarter 2023 I’d inquired at multiple companies in regards to remodeling my kitchen at my country home. And It wasn’t till I stopped in at Kitchen and Bath decor that I received exactly what I was looking for. From the moment I walked in, to the patience and time to put the idea together, to the remodeling, minor changes and to the end result. My kitchen went from a typical boring apartment colors with basic everything else to a more open and welcoming feel as a country home should feel. I love it and my friends can’t get enough it either. A job well done to you and your team.
