We usually see rodent activity pick up around this time of year, and February is when small warning signs can quietly turn into bigger problems.
Here in Florida, most of the calls we get start the same way — light scratching in the attic, a few droppings in the garage, something chewed that wasn’t chewed before.
Because we don’t get harsh winters, rats and mice don’t slow down much. If they find shelter, they settle in.
It doesn’t take long for one small entry point to become a nesting spot.
