From Challenges to Growth: Lessons from Our First Year
When we launched Khao-Che, we thought a cart was just a cart. Reality hit hard. Finding the right design? A nightmare. Every fabricator stuck to outdated designs, and none understood what a high-efficiency QSR kiosk really needed.
So, we designed it ourselves. Priorities? Mobility, dismantlability, and a strict 200,000 PKR budget—but in the process, we overlooked crucial details:
❌ Branding that makes a statement
❌ A fully cleanable, hygiene-friendly setup (no gaps, seamless surfaces)
❌ Cold storage to keep ingredients fresh
❌ Organized storage for food, packaging & cleaning supplies
❌ Weatherproofing for rain, dust & heat protection
❌ A secure cash handling system
❌ CCTV monitoring for security & operations

Now, as we prepare to launch our new kiosk in May, we’re making every necessary upgrade—bold branding, optimized storage, enhanced security, and a smarter workflow.
But That Was Just Step One…
A cart is one thing. Keeping food fresh daily? That’s an entirely different challenge.
Khowsuey is delicate—curry, noodle, chicken, toppings —one mistake, and the experience is ruined. And yes, we’ve faced spoilage, inconsistency, and operational setbacks.
