My son who was 7 at the time joined muay Thai through a mutual friend who’s kid ALSO attends the classes. and it’s consistently been a great experience. The facility is clean and well maintained and the staff is always welcoming. The group classes for kids are challenging in a good way. The environment always feels positive and motivating. My son who will be turning 10 looks forward to class every time.

Khaoboy is a great place to train. The coaches are really knowledgeable and helpful for all experience levels. I've learned and improved techniques in muay thai, BJJ, and MMA at a pace that was comfortable to me. I highly recommend this gym if youre trying to learn martial arts or get a great workout in!

great environment for anyone interested in accomplishing their own specific goals while being coached under qualified craftsmen who compete as well as take trips to Thailand to learn the sport from the roots. ive been training muay Thai for 9 years at numerous gyms in NY and Thailand and Khaoboy hits all the bullet points as a great gym that is worth trying out if you want to learn self defense in a fun and hardworking environment.

Great Muay Thai Gym, all the coaches are extremely nice, helpful and patient. The gym is very clean and every member is also helpful and super nice.

Best authentic Muay Thai gym on LI! Been a member since the gym opened. All coaches have tons of experience, love the sport, and most importantly actually care about every student. All the members are very welcoming and many knowledgeable as well. Whatever your goal is when joining, this is the spot where you can achieve it.

An incredible gym with even more incredible people! As a member for over a year now, joining Khaoboy has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I walked in knowing nothing about either discipline and through the amazing teaching I've received from Coaches Emilio, Pat, Dave and others, I have grown more than I ever expected. Great people, correct accurate training and sparring skills at work. It has a family atmosphere. This is the first place I’ve been since living in Astoria that checks all the boxes. International talent, regular people who want to learn, amazing workout routine that allows for shadow boxing, new techniques. I love that there is a dojo/gym in LI where you kick punch and grapple your teammates without malice , with the intent on learning and bettering yourself. Real deal without the attitude!

Phenomenal coaches. Despite having students of different skill levels, they make an effort to make sure everyone learns. The culture is very cooperative and has a high degree of sportsmanship. No nonsense scheduling or commitment requirements. Highly recommend signing up!
