Ketchikan Custom Tours

We had an absolutely awesome time with our guide Leon who really went out of his way to provide the best tour we could’ve asked for! Leon took us out to the known local spots to view wildlife. The highlight undoubtedly was Herring Cove, the spot to watch for bears. Our tour consisted of 4 people (including myself and my partner), and was entirely flexible to what we all wanted. We spent a long period at Herring Cove as the entire group prioritised bear viewing. Leon accommodated any of our needs, and helped spot any bears. We saw 3 different bears in total (including a mother and cub) it was fantastic! We were coming close to time on our 2 hour tour but due to him having no more tours this day, Leon was happy to go over the time to allow us to have an extended experience. It was very kind and we appreciate it a lot. We seen so much in and out of town on our tour; it was just fantastic. I could not recommend this company enough and specifically Leon as a guide! 10/10, it really made out time in Ketchikan extra special. Thank you Leon! Dom was a great tour guide! He tried everything he could to get us to see all the wildlife and gorgeous views of Ketchikan! Very knowledgeable about the history of the town. Very friendly and went above and beyond all of our expectations! Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be calling him again in the future

Dominique was fabulous. We didn't see the wildlife we wanted, but it was not due to his lack of trying. He was very knowledgeable about the area. We saw a lot of eagles, which our group really enjoyed. He was very responsive and funny. He took us to his bar, Artic Bar afterwards located at the port. Thanks Dominique.

I did not go on this tour only because it was fully booked the day we are going to dock. Dominic so kindly pointed us to another tour that he highly recommended and it does the same things. Please meeting fellow Veteran who owns Ketchikan Custom Tours with his wife. Amazing tour of Ketchikan. Even though we a re super early in the season we saw a lot of wildlife including Humpback back Whale, lots of Eagles, Deer and some harbour seals. Would highly recommend Ketchikan Custom tours. We had 11 people in a private van for 6 hours. Worth every penny and we also got 10% Discount for me being a vet. Cheers SF
